Lindt — Attraction in Málaga

LAMENTABLE... This review is ONLY for Lindt staff at Plaza Mayor Malaga. Saturday night, we come the whole family from Marbella to do some shopping and then we had plans in the center of Malaga. First stop, Lindt for a hot chocolate. 3 girls staff in a crowded store, two at the cash registers and one (with the menu and recipes in hand) serves the customers for drinks and ice cream. My husband and daughter wait patiently for their order, within minutes the line gets long, the girl panics, she gives my husband a hot chocolate without a straw or a spoon. He returns it, the girl puts it on the display, her colleague comes "to help" rushing and pushing her, and without realizing it, spilling the hot chocolate on my husband! His white pants and shoes soaked in chocolate! From there, the entire situation and how it was handled by the store staff is PITIFUL. Lamentable comments and refusal to take the blame. Please if any of the managers of this store are reading this to review the cameras from that day, this is not normal customer treatment and not only did they ruin our entire evening but we also had to have the trousers dry cleaned. The stains come off, but this experience has put us off this store forever, which is a shame because we are super fans of the brand. But to work with people, you need to have tact and a sense of respect, which is totally lacking...

Even though the chocolate and ice cream were great, we had a bad experience.

I visited with my family and ordered a few ice cream cones. Maria at the cashier counter was very friendly and welcoming, which we appreciated. However, the woman preparing and serving the ice cream was rude and unhelpful.

As she handed us the cones, I politely asked for a small spoon for my 5-year-old daughter. Since it was very hot outside, I knew the ice cream would melt faster than she could eat it, and a spoon would help her manage it without making a mess.

To our surprise, they said no we can't have a plastic spoon, although they had tons of. The lady explained that spoons are only provided to customers who order ice cream in cups and not cones. Despite the fact that we spent over 40 euros on ice cream and chocolate, they refused to give us a single small plastic spoon, even though they clearly had plenty behind the counter.

This made absolutely no sense. Unsurprisingly, as we stepped outside, the ice cream began to melt too quickly for my daughter to keep up, and she ended up with her clothes covered in chocolate.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Lindt Chocolates store, and I must say, it was an absolute delight! We were treated to a taste of their signature Dubai chocolate, which was truly scrumptious and left us craving for more.

The staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, and hospitable, offering us samples of their various chocolate flavors. Their enthusiasm and knowledge of the products were evident, and they made us feel right at home.

We were so impressed with the quality and taste of the chocolates that we ended up shopping for plenty of items to take back with us. The overall experience was fantastic, and I highly recommend Length Chocolates to anyone with a sweet tooth.
