The park was originally created in the mid-19th century, and was designed to be a green space in the center of the city. It features a wide variety of trees, plants, and flowers, including palm trees, magnolias, and jasmine, and is known for its colorful and fragrant gardens. In addition to its natural beauty, Malaga Park also features several notable sculptures, fountains, and other works of art. One of the most famous sculptures in the park is a statue of Hans Christian Andersen, which was erected in 1977 in honor of the Danish author's connection to the city of Malaga. Malaga Park is a popular destination for both tourists and locals, and is a great place to relax and enjoy the outdoors. It features several walking paths, benches, and picnic areas, as well as a playground for children. The park also hosts a variety of cultural events throughout the year, including concerts, exhibitions, and festivals.

It is a very beautiful park. 🤩 It is green and combines a wide variety of trees and plants of different varieties. The paths are wide organized from a kind of small gravel and are furnished with seats on both sides among palm trees or other shrubs. Along the entire length of the park there are several statues and ornaments that make this location more beautiful. The park is also home to several birds that seem to be competing or trying to fight the noise of the transport from one side of the park to the other. Somewhere in the middle of it, the park also has a stage for organizing cultural events, or at least several evenings in a row I heard music and entertainment. I think it's a great location near the sea. 😍❤️

Málaga Park is a beautiful oasis in the heart of the city, offering a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. The park is full of lush greenery, vibrant flowers, and palm trees, providing a peaceful atmosphere for a relaxing stroll or a quiet break. The wide, shaded pathways make it ideal for walking or jogging, while the benches scattered throughout the park invite you to sit and soak in the tranquility. With its fountains, sculptures, and stunning views of the port and sea, Málaga Park is a must-visit spot for anyone exploring the city. Perfect for families, couples, and solo travelers alike!

Relaxing place to walk or sit down in to escape the summer sun in Malaga. Lots of beautiful and exotic trees and plants. There are statues, fountains and monuments in memory of historical people. There is a small playground too within the area. You can catch the No 35 bus to the Gibralfaro from here too - save climbing up the mountain. It’s is the very last stop. It is a 20-30minute ride I think. Bus tickets are also cheap and you can use contactless payments.

What a calming place! A wonderful botanical garden with hundreds of plants located almost in the city center, but walking around you will feel like you are somewhere far away from big cities. I recommend a morning walk where the sun will slowly illuminate the plants and paths, and the singing of birds and the sounds of water sprinkling the plants will create a truly paradise atmosphere! In winter this is absolutely necessary.
