Hard Rock Café in Muelle Uno - Malaga, Spain.
This is a very well known restaurant so as a tourist the last thing you would expect is for your belongings to be stolen from the back of your seat and nothing I mean nothing do about it. My bag was at my feet, twice it was kicked so I picked it up and hung it on the back of my chair. I took something out of it five mkns before I called for the bill. When I got the bill I reached for my bag and it was gone. As I. Stolen. We were sitting inside the restaurant in the middle of other tables. Staff walking around, and it was busy but not overly busy. When I discovered the bag was stolen, I went straight to the manager on duty 'pablo' and I asked for someone to ring the police and could they please check the cameras to see if they could identify anything that might help. Well, I thought that would be a normal thing for a well established company like the Hard Rock Cafe, nope..he said he couldn't ring the police that we have to go to them in person, and they can't look at the cameras. The local area as in Muelle Uno has its own security they arrived and gave no help or support what's so ever. I rang my bank to start cancelling my cards and as I was doing this my family were still sitting at the table, then the waitress came down with a copy of the first bill and asked how were we going to pay by card or cash...I was really pissed at this stage. The main manager then arrived on the scene and he simply played the party line we have to go to the police and report that the police do not come to the restaurant. The place where the crime took place. I am deeply shocked as to how poor and lack of respect for tourism. Over all I will never step foot into a Hard Rock Cafe anywhere in the world again. I know I will have no financial impact on the company by doing this. But I lost enough money when my bag got stolen from inside the Hard Rock Cafe in Malaga and the manager and staff done nothing I mean nothing about it. What they did do was told us to leave and then it doesn't become their problem. They don't want the police at their restaurant. Hidesight is a wonderful thing, I reflected to the movements and goings on that evening and I have come to the conclusion that it might or More than likely could have been a member of staff. Yes I know that is a bold statement but I am sticking with it. We talking to people around our table and they said they saw nothing. The robbers within 20 mins of stealing my bag they paid for tacos at a location 5km away from the restaurant. Nobody that was eating there would have been hungry enough to buy tacos. My guess and its only a guess as I have no proof, a staff member offloaded the stolen bag to the wanting person. I used 'find my device' to track my phone. I got a taxi and when to the location, the phone and my bag I found in a big bin on the side of the road, I got my wallet back less money and bank cards. Then went to the police station and got a police report at 0200hrs, the bag was stolen at 1930hrs approx. It didn't take away from the hoilday. This is the first time I got anything stolen from me...

Let's Start with the Shop.. Everything as always, lots of shirts, pins and accessories, everything fine so far. The so called MANAGER ON DUTY weren't even capable to talk to Clients, but Gruess What? In a City like this it could possible be, that there a tourists from other countries .. Thank god one of us speaks spanish fluently... Never had that before
Going to the Restaurant.. After being seated we had to wait several minutes before ordering, eventhough we knew exactly What we wanted.
We ordered 3 Cocktails and a Jumbo Combo and told the Staff Member to leave the Menu, so we could order more food later.
The Jumbo Combo was good, but i think they ran out of Spring rolls, because they were missing on the plate.. Instead we got a spinach - artichok dip. No Problem so far, but they should inform Clients about things like this!
Apart from this, the Service was so unbelievably slow... I think even a sloat would have been faster. We finished food and drinks and really wanted to order something else but this was a challenge that seemed impossible to manage. The Service staff walked past as several times, we even tried waving and calling (which is very difficult when they don't speak any other language than spanish) but i think we got invisible After our first order...
We ended up (nearly) jumping aroud to get attention of the Stuff, which lead us to just ask for the Bill and leave!
Even the music didn't fit to the usual Hard Rock Cafe music... If i want to Listen to normal Radio music, i just sit in the car and Listen to it! We usualy go to a Hard Rock Cafe because of the atmosphere and especially the music... None of these helped to Lift the mood..
Don't think that I will go back to the Hard Rock...
Read moreThis place is a (bad) joke. The service is slow (Saturday evening), the food is less then mediocre and overpriced. I have no idea how did they manage to make even the bacon in the burger tasteless. I mean... you need skills to f**k that up. For almost 15 euros I got a tasteless burger that wasn't any better than any kebab shop's cheap, generic burger with Mercadona ingredients.
I also ordered a cocktail (without buying their signature glass) for almost 10 euros which was not even big or tasty, but it came in a normal drinking glass instead of some proper cocktail glass, it looked so plain and sad... OMG one of the worst cocktail experiences I've ever had.
The only good thing was their brownie (in terms of taste) that they sell for almost 9 euros and supposedly it's enough to share... well, if you are a 40kg girl raised on salad, maybe, but otherwise if you like sweets, you can eat it by yourself, making it the most expensive brownie you've ever had, expect if you've been in Amsterdam, but that is another story.
Ok, I get that it's a HARD ROCK Cafe, but the music was so loud that I could bare but have a conversation with the person sitting in front of me at the table, because the loud music made the people speak even louder (come on, we are in Spain, people are loud here) so we ended up shouting at each other and still not hearing anything most of the time, just smiling and nodding, hoping that we didn't just agree into something kinky stuff with a donkey involved.
This was the first and definitely the last time that I was going to a Hard Rock Cafe, for me they are just an overpriced, yet mediocre restaurant who try to capitalize the only thing they...
