We visited Palma Aquarium in the morning. The que wasn't so busy as we'd bought the tickets previously. On arrival we had our photos taken (which we bought at the end and was reasonably priced which included a bag and a information brochure which our photos where inside) The walk through the tanks was pretty crowded but we managed and was able to see as much as we could. We'll maintained tanks and areas and a variety of different species of aquatics) Once through the start we went into the big 4D show This was a show about whales and although the show was great and the filming and 3d was incredible, I felt that it was a little to short (8 minutes). They supplied us with headphones which gave you information in an array of different languages on the dial, The restaurant was very packed but we were able to get a table. If you don't mind a wait, then you'll be fine but it took us around 20 minutes to get food. Light bites, snacks and got food inside included the standard chips and meatballs etc. There was a little park inside which had a blow up slide. This was good for children as there was some good activities for them. The walk round also included swimming with Stingrays for an extra fee for kids (€15 I think) but we didn't bother as we felt it was a little bit too much for a toddler. Upon exploring more we came across an art room where you could colour 3 different things, scan it and it would appear with the big fish tank. This was a really good touch as my child loved seeing her name above the colourful fish and stingray she coloured. Upon exit, seeing the big sharks and fish in the main tank, it felt like the layout was good. The only downside is not enough elevators. We had a pushchair and struggled at times as I had to carry it down and up flights of stairs. I'd of gave it 4.4/5 but there wasn't the option. All in all a great day, plenty of activities for everyone and things to see with the family. Souvenirs on exit.

An absolute treasure in Palma de Mallorca! This stunning aquarium exceeded all expectations and proved to be a highlight of our visit to the island. The facility seamlessly blends education with entertainment, making it a perfect destination for both families and marine enthusiasts. The crown jewel is the spectacular Big Blue tank, one of Europe's deepest shark tanks at 8.5 meters. Watching the sand tiger sharks, rays, and other large marine life glide gracefully through the crystal-clear water is mesmerizing. The underwater tunnel provides an immersive experience that makes you feel like you're walking on the ocean floor. The Mediterranean section beautifully showcases local marine life, helping visitors understand the rich biodiversity of the Balearic waters. The jellyfish exhibits are particularly stunning, with clever lighting that highlights these ethereal creatures' natural beauty. What sets Palma Aquarium apart is their commitment to marine conservation. Their rescue center for sea turtles demonstrates real dedication to wildlife protection, and the educational programs are both informative and engaging. The staff's passion shines through during presentations, which are offered in multiple languages. The facility is impeccably maintained, with spotless tanks and well-designed viewing areas. The outdoor gardens provide pleasant spaces to relax, and the children's play areas are thoughtfully integrated throughout. The on-site restaurant offers quality Mediterranean cuisine with lovely views. Don't miss the daily feeding demonstrations or the opportunity to dive with sharks (with proper certification). The gift shop offers unique marine-themed souvenirs that go beyond typical tourist fare. A must-visit attraction that perfectly balances entertainment with environmental education. Well worth the admission price!

Palma Aquarium is located in Palma de Mallorca, Spain. Palma Aquarium opened its doors to the public in 2007. It is one of the largest aquariums in Europe, covering an area of 12,000 square meters. The aquarium features a variety of marine life exhibits, including Mediterranean and tropical habitats. One of its main attractions is the Big Blue tank, which is one of the deepest shark tanks in Europe, reaching a depth of 8.5 meters. This was a remarkable experience, and we spent a good period of time admiring. Palma Aquarium is dedicated to marine conservation efforts and education, with programs aimed at raising awareness about ocean conservation. You can see some of the passion for conservation within some of the educational tanks/orbs, such as the shark eggs, and the teeth structure of a megalodon. Visitors can enjoy interactive experiences such as touching starfish and learning about marine life conservation efforts. It houses over 700 different species of marine life, including sharks, rays, jellyfish, and seahorses. The aquarium offers educational programs for schools and families, including guided tours and workshops. Palma Aquarium is involved in various research projects focused on marine biology and conservation, so they have great pedigree and you can see this within the setup of their ecosystems. The aquarium is easily accessible from Palma de Mallorca and is a popular destination for tourists and locals alike. Watching whales in 3D was immense, I thoroughly enjoyed this extra amenity. The food was okay, staff were reasonably friendly and overall we had a great time visiting. Overall one of the better aquariums I have visited, and much bigger than anticipated. Great half-day out, would recommend!

Wow!! Great place to come and visit It’s told we have only explored 5% of water life. When seeing these creatures I really wonder what’s down there Didn’t take long to get in. Great tip … miss the first few zones and go straight to zone 3. Then back track later. It’s quite rammed as everyone is going in at once. By skipping ahead you get the whole zones to yourself really. No rushing or waiting around for others. Also weekends are quieter than week days …. Lots of picture moments as you would expect The staff were great there are little booth type areas were they show and explain what’s there Biggest shark tank in the eu. The sharks were massive and lots of different areas to see them from. I think there were three floors! They even feed sharks at certain times so check We went to the 4d cinema. Deffo worth going to. Was a really interesting short movie about whales Loved the jungle area the best. With the waterfall and the parrots We took the kids to the soft play area. It wasn’t busy and there were about 10 kids there. It’s air con and really nice and cool. The food wasn’t the best. Didn’t have much options and I thought it was kinda strange they had fish on the menu ? There is an outside park and lots of areas to visit and see. Plenty of interactive parts for the kids to play with The gift shop was massive. I know there are always big mark ups but they do have to run the whole place Always love coming to see the animals here but do feel sorry for them being in tanks. Overall a great place to come to. Really big and not overly busy Keep up the great work guys

We booked a family ticket with the 3D cinema experience. The shark tank was really impressive, and we loved the 3D cinema. There are numerous kids' activities which kept our kids involved and entertained. However, it was too hot for us to explore the Mediterranean gardens, and the children only spent about 5 minutes in the play area. We arrived early with pre-booked tickets and were pleased to find a separate entrance for advance bookings, which was perfect. It took us around 40 minutes to go through the Mediterranean and Tropical sea exhibits, plus an extra 10 minutes to queue for the 3D cinema. It would have been helpful to have an estimated time for these activities in advance, as I was a bit confused with my 3D cinema ticket that had a specific time on it. We had lunch next to the outdoor play area, and although it wasn’t the only place to eat, it was definitely one of the more expensive options. Upon entry, they take a picture of you without asking, and judging by this, it seems they haven't heard of GDPR, which was both annoying and invasive. At the end of the visit, you have to pass through a shop filled with overpriced, tacky items, and there’s no way to avoid it. I really dislike being forced into these kinds of places, especially with two kids who want everything, which made the experience quite stressful.
