My fiance and I stayed here for five nights in July, it was my first time ever visiting Mallorca, or any hot country for that matter. The hotel is a very short taxi ride from the airport, and is a short bus journey into central Palma, or the big Carrefour supermarket, for only 2Eu each way. ||Our room was plenty spacious, we had all the space we needed. We got exactly what we asked and paid for. The shower was a wee bit small as when I bent over I knocked the shower off, although I blame my big bottom for this! Towels replaced daily, room straightened up daily. Aircon in the room, takes a bit of getting used to but it works just fine. There is shower gel in a dispenser and little bars of soap for washing hands. ||The communal areas are clean and pleasant. The top floor has a jacuzzi which I found was rarely occupied, so I thoroughly enjoyed spending time in there. There are sun loungers to relax on and a beautiful view of the sprawling beach. Bar and outside area spacious and clean.||Food was very varied and good quality. I'm a fussy eater and so tended to opt for just chips and plain food, but that is entirely a me problem and not something I would ever penalise the hotel for. My fiance really enjoyed the food, and we both loved that the selection changed each day. After the holiday each day I'd be saying 'I wonder what they're having for lunch/dinner today'! On the all-inclusive plan, the free drinks are basic but they get the job done! All the fanta limon you could ever want, and some nice juices on offer for breakfast.||The staff are one of the big highlights of the hotel, all extremely friendly. In particular, two of the ladies at the bar were just hilarious! And they were very kind to me despite accidentally spilling my drink twice (I wasn't even drunk, just clumsy!). The lady on reception helped me find where the bus stop was, and on check-out day another lady sorted our taxi out for us. All staff multilingual and as a Brit I had no problem communicating, although I did try a bit of pigeon-Spanish!||The hotel is across the road from the beach, and when we went, that part of the beach didn't get very busy. The hotel is also next to some nice bars, which we visited a couple of times to get cocktails. ||Overall, a really great place to stay and it made for a very memorable holiday. We would return in a...
Read moreFirstly, an excellent adults only hotel to stay in normally, we returned here to find it had been refurbished recently and looked clean and contemporary. All staff were helpful and a special mention to Joanna at the restaurant who charmed everyone. She was one of the staff who took the time to interact with guests, making them feel comfortable and welcome whilst she did her job efficiently. A really good ambassador for the hotel, keep it up Joanna. Also Miguel another character who made us welcome.|We stayed a week half board and the selection and quality of the food at breakfast and dinner was excellent. The room had air-conditioning and was clean with a partial view of the beach from the balcony. We were supplied with a kettle on request free of charge to make tea in our room. There's free WiFi and free safe to use in the room. Now the slight downside, the hotel adjacent to ours is under renovation and there is constant building noise from 8am till 6pm. It was never mentioned on the website we booked through ,if it had been, we would have considered other hotels. The double glazing helps but didn't block it entirely, we were out most days but if you came back to rest it was noisy. The hotel is right on the beach esplanade 20m from the pristine clean beach. It has its own rooftop solarium with jacuzzi, with great views over the bay, especially at sunset. There's no shade up on the roof but understandably as it can get breezy and parasols would blow way. There's a lovely balcony at the front on the ground floor overlooking the beach, to sit and people watch whilst having your breakfast or a drink later. The hotel is 10 mins from the airport ,about €17 by taxi or €5 pp bus, the A2bus (normal bus to Palma A25/A35 is only €2 pp), you can hire bikes locally and from hotel, the roads have cycle paths so very safe. It takes about 1hr 40 to walk into centre of Palma and is worth doing, visit inside the cathedral and then sit in Passeig del Born at a cafe listening to local buskers over a wine, sangria or coffee. We took a tourist train trip to El Arenal further along the bay but I wouldn't recommend it as its full of stags and hen parties but very lively if you like that. Overall I highly recommend this hotel but contact them first to see if building work is still ongoing. It looked like it would be...
Read moreWe stayed at the Eden Palma Hotel in C’an Pastilla from 9th to 16th April 2025 and had a brilliant experience overall. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained with a spacious bed, a hot and powerful shower, and a digital safe provided free of charge. A TV with a few English channels (BBC1, BBC2, ITV1, ITV2) was a nice touch for a bit of downtime.||One of the highlights was the rooftop sun terrace which includes a jacuzzi – sadly, it was closed due to cooler weather during our visit, but the space itself was lovely. The beach is practically on your doorstep (around 10 metres away) and stretches for miles with gorgeous soft sand.||We opted for the breakfast and dinner package, and the food exceeded expectations. There was a wide variety of options at each meal, and you can request made-to-order omelettes at breakfast or freshly cooked meats in the evening. The dining room was clean and comfortable, and the chairs were surprisingly cosy!||Staff were exceptional – incredibly friendly and hardworking, creating a genuinely welcoming atmosphere. Drinks are well-priced: a large beer was €4, wine around the same, and cocktails about €8.50. Coffee, juice, and water were available free during breakfast.||Check-out is at 12pm, but the hotel thoughtfully provides luggage storage and access to shower facilities if you have a later flight – a big bonus.||In terms of location, it’s really handy for exploring the area. The bus stop to Palma is about 500m away and only €2 for a one-way ticket. The coastal path to Palma offers scenic views and takes around two hours on foot, while the walk to S’Arenal is around an hour and also pleasant. S’Arenal itself is much livelier than C’an Pastilla.||The area is very popular with German tourists, so many of the nearby bars and restaurants cater more to that market, and it’s also a bit of a hotspot for road cyclists. However, that didn’t impact our enjoyment.||Overall, Eden Palma is a fantastic hotel with a great location, excellent food, and superb staff. We’d definitely recommend it and wouldn’t...
