A disgraceful, disgusting restaurant. Worryingly bad hygiene, horrible food, atrocious service and extremely high prices. What a winning combination. This place is a disgrace to the very notion of hospitality, and should be avoided at all costs. It's a shame you can't award 0 or negative star marks.

Olives arrived with several spat out stones ultimately found amongst others in the bowl we'd already started eating from. They're clearly tipping back in left over olives from previous diners and too lazy to pick out all of the already eaten ones out. Gross.

Glasses were dirty, service was literally non existent other than food being slapped down in haste on the table.

The 'fresh' fish of the day was very poorly grilled, accompanied by wet, soggy carrot bits and crumbly, tasteless, very over-cooked crumbly but wet potatoes that tasted like they'd been around for days, if not weeks.

A few bites, we were done and left. €60 for all this with a small bottle of water. Why didn't we complain at the time? Honestly, they so clearly couldn't give a damn that it wasn't worth wasting any more time or effort arguing with them, and they're definitely not from 'the customer is always right' school of thought. Complaints about places like this are best made places like here.

Both of us felt sick and unwell for the next 24 hours as struggled to digest whatever bacteria they had newly introduced to our systems, and we were simply thankful we didn't get full on food poisoning for our €60.

Don't know this area of Mallorca at all so can't say if there are any better options, but there sure won't be any worse.

One of the most awful, and worst value, meals I've...

Mixed experience! The food is great. The pricing tactics are dodgy. The service could be a bit more defined. The range of wines is good. We took a local Mallorcan white and it was superb. You can not order food at the table and need to go to a kiosk inside the restaurant. Not too helpful if you came together with family and need to discuss options with them before ordering. I ordered a paella. It was great! Tasty, huge portion. The trick is that one will be charged for two paellas, as there is a condition that two servings is minimum to order. Not too handy with a menu available on a plate above the “kiosk”. They offer “bread, olives,…” when they bring wine. Non of us is a fan of olives and mayo, so, we said “some bread would be fine”. They brought that set with olives and mayonnaise and included that in the bill. And, certainly we did not manage to finish two paellas, as we fancied only one. So we asked to put it into a take away container. They happily offered this service. When we paid the bill, the waiter came back to us without the take away paella to apologize that it was discarded at the kitchen by mistake. They offered a compensation in the way of a coffee or wine. Too bad we did not want any. Just left the venue laughing at ourselves. Certainly we needed to be more attentive in reading the menu which clearly stated that the portion and the price will be...

Absolute rip off! Been charged for the starters we didn’t order, the bill came up to £100 just for 2 people! My order was paella for 2 people, been asked what seafood we want to pick up. So after we picked up 3, seafood came without rice, asked the waitress where’s the rest of our food and been told it takes longer for rice to be cooked. Rice been served after we had the seafood and apparently that was the starter!! Been charger £30 for the seafood and £34 for paella. All we’ve ordered was just paella... Also They put bread and olives on the table without asking, then you have to pay for it. The worst customer service I’ve ever seen, never complained in restaurants before. We tried to explain the situation to the manger which has been polite but very patronising sayin “we don’t understand how restaurants work in Spain” as we’re not from there, then said he will take “something” of the bill... While paying he decided that we should pay in euros not pounds by clicking currency option on the screen, that’s up to the costumer!! He just took the card machine of us and did it himself. Absolutely horrendous place! Food was ok but had better seafood in different restaurants, the whole experience...

After raving about the paella and fresh squid my partner and I decided to return after two years. So, tonight we booked a taxi from Palmanova and we were both excited about returning to the restaurant, however when we arrived tonight it was empty, flat without atmosphere or any attention from the staff. I ordered wine, which was discoloured and unpleasant. The waiter didn't understand what squid was and seemed confused about the fabulous fish available. The food came, but the waiter delivered padron peppers, instead of squid?? The octopus came and was burnt and also totally overcooked. The squid did eventually arrive and was swimming in oil, which was completely opposite to the fabulous squid we had on our previous visits. The Paella was such a disaster, over cooked fish and stone cold. So after 100 euros in taxi fares, spoilt wine, over cooked paella, squid soaked in oil and burnt octopus I can say I'm disappointed and to top it off they offered a small bottle of some type of wine which I didn't accept. Maybe someone will offer an explanation.

Our visit to Marisc Sa Barca was far from enjoyable. While we were seated quickly and given a clear explanation of the ordering process, the experience quickly went downhill. We ordered a cava and paella. The cava arrived promptly, accompanied by warm bread with aioli, which turned out to be the highlight of the meal. Unfortunately, the paella was a complete letdown. Though it looked appetizing, the taste told another story. The dish was overwhelmingly salty, excessively dry, and the seafood was overcooked—possibly even reheated multiple times. The crab offered no meat to enjoy, and the shrimp had shriveled to unrecognizable bites. Despite being hungry, we struggled through the meal and left disappointed. The bread and aioli were the only redeeming elements of our visit. We won’t be returning.
