I stayed at this hotel for about a week in total. I had planned to stay for a further four days, but cut this short and requested a refund which was granted due to the main and serious issues I faced at the hotel. I was also given a late check out on the day I left, which I appreciate. However, neither the refund, not the late checkout can excuse what I had to go through. The most serious incidence was that a German man who was a cyclist, enter the swimming pool while I was having my morning coffee on the patio area facing the pool. He got in while wearing all of his cycling clothes and exposed himself while washing and bathing himself in the pool in full view of myself and several other guests. This was deeply shocking and I am glad that no children were present at the time. I immediately went inside to the bar and reported the matter to the lady working at the bar and she immediately began to gaslight me, telling me it was normal and that this man was normal and repeatedly telling me that ´he is a cyclist. He has stayed here many times´as if that made this man´s behaviour acceptable! I was shocked that this woman would try to make me believe that this behaviour was normal. In fact, she could see the man through the windows, still standing in the pool washing himself. This same woman was also rude to me two days later, when I ordered some tea and some fries at the bar. When adding sugar to my tea, I picked up the teaspoon without looking at it carefully, but when I took it out of the teapot, realized it was very dirty! I told the woman waitress and she took it away without saying anything (no apology, zero) and brought me a new spoon. I said thank you, but can you please also change the tea because I used that dirty spoon in the teapot without realizing. She gave me a very annoyed look and rolled her eyes rudely, said nothing, picked up the teapot and walked off. This was totally unprofessional and rude behaviour. Regarding the room, I appreciated being given a room on a high floor with good seaview as I requested. However, the glass bathroom door could not be opened more than a little as it scraped on the floor. Also, the phone in the room was out of order. Therefore, the technicians had to come and fix both of these issues, which caused me inconvience. These are issues which would have been detected and should have been fixed if any staff member had checked the room before giving it to me. It is obvious that proper checks are not done. The sliding door to the balcony is difficult to open due to old lock getting stuck. There was also an ant issue, where if even the tinies speck of sugar or food or anything edible falls on the floor by accident, you will find a huge mass of ants there within hours. Furthermore, I noticed an enormous gap at the bottom of the railings on the 8th floor through which a small child, pet (if they are allowed in the hotel), or even person could fall through. I ask that the hotel immediately address this safety issue and all other issues that I have mentioned above. While the staff at reception were polite and helpful, I did not find all of them to be sincere and for example, Jose/Josep was telling me that he cannot always be at the pool or other areas to see if a guest is behaving inappropriately. I found this to be a very poor excuse. Clearly, the hotel is not doing what it should be doing to address the inappropriate behaviour of some guests. I saw no signs at the pool or lobby area giving guests information about what is allowed/not allowed and yet Josep was telling me that he has to constantly tell guests not to put their feet on the sofas in the lobby or drink bottles of wine in the lobby which they did not buy from the hotel bar. If you want people to behave properly, then you must do what is necessary to inform them of the rules and not complain about guests behind their backs. In my opinion, this hotel needs to do much more to improve standards and stop making excuses while being happy to take their cash (mainly from groups of cyclists and others and excusing their behaviour while the rest of the guests have to endure inappropriate behaviour). I do not recommend this hotel for people with young children for the...

Read moreThe perfect place for our short stay in Mallorca, with a star knocked off for a couple of minor reasons.
First the negatives:
Apart from the above 2 points this place was perfect for us, despite not being our sort of usual hotel at all. Getting to the airport using the bus was very easy, and the bus drops you off right outside the hotel door. We had an easy check in with a very warm welcome. The room was very clean, tidy and, apart from the safe, had everything we needed. Apart from the lack of cooked vegetarian options the breakfasts were 1st class. Everything was fresh and of good quality, and there was something for everyone, or lots for everyone if you're like me! The hotel location was perfect for getting to / from Palma quickly and easily, with a bus stop right outside the door. The beach was 30 seconds walk from the front door, there are lots of bars, restaurants and (small) supermarkets within a few minutes walk. I can thoroughly recommend the poke bowl place just on the front for a healthy evening meal. We didnt get time to use the pool facilities during our stay, but the area was very tidy and clean, with towels and lots of beds to relax on. This really isn't the sort of hotel we'd normally stay at, but time and ease of life while we were away swung it for us, and we weren't disappointed. Clean, tidy hotel, warm, friendly and helpful welcome, and an...
