The best water ride in Port Aventura in my opinion. Water rides should be enjoyable, some thrills and of course wet at points. This fits that brief, though too short in my opinion, thus 4 stars and not 5. There are ponchos available to buy before going on if you want not to be totally soaked, but they are pricey (€7.5 adult / €6.5 child in 2019). It's nice that you can sit a number of people in a row in the 'boats' so the family can sit together on this ride. There are basically two drops, the second being the biggest and wettest. With a bit of a lazy river and of course hill climb in between. Lots of screams and smiling faces on the drops, but do be prepared to get wet. Don't take water sensitive things on, or do like I did and bring a black bin bag and put your rucksack / day bag / hand bag etc in into that. Fun for the family, but...
Read moreI really enjoyed it, the other half did not! 😂 We wore swimwear in anticipation to get wet today at Port Aventura, and this ride did not disappoint! It's two drops into water, the first was "the small drop", but got us drenched straight away! It's a really humorous moment and it gets everyone in the flume laughing together. You reach the second drop, and it really is "the big one"! You're presented with a huge drop straight down into water next to you as you climb up the ride, and once you hit it, you're absolutely soaked through! Definitely wear swimwear, you'll definitely see lots of others doing so. Could have used a third drop, but no big deal, since this ride really does give you all you need for a...
Read moreSet in the Polynesia land of PortAventura this is one ofbthe big rides on offer and maintains the theme throughout. While not the fanciest or most thrilling ride on offer it is without a doubt the wettest! In the front row then only part of your body not soakes through will be thw small of your back, even my shoes ended up full of water. Between the two drops there isn't much to see however this ride is designed to just get you wet. Queue times seemed to remain around 30 minutes theoughout the day. Expresspass is worth it for priority seating at the front...
