Twice we've been to portaventura and this place has always been closed, but our 3rd time around we were 3rd time lucky and it was open. We were so excited to finally get to eat here. Unfortunately, I'm a little dissapointed to say that it was not worth the wait. The menu has hardly any choices for adult meals and the ones it did have were very overpriced for what they were (even for the inside of a theme park the options were way over asking price). I didn't like anything on the menu so only ordered the sharer combo starter and pretty much everything on the plate tasted the same (i could have been blindfolded and not been able to tell you wether i was eating chicken, cheese or an onion ring they all tasted the same). My sister ordered the vegan burger and she left it after one bite, choosing only to eat the tortilla chips which were by far the best tasting thing we had from this restaurant. Both kids did eat their kids meals and in fairness they do have a decent child's selection but the main adult meals are very disappointing. In future I don't think I would go back here a second time. I would be happy for the kids to have their dinner here but I would definitely look elsewhere for myself and any other adults in my party. On a positive note the staff who work here are extremely friendly and we're brilliant with the 2 kids. We were seated quickly and brought menus straight away with complimentary olives. Our orders were taken quickly but we did wait longer than average for our food to arrive which did cut into our time in the park. The staff were quick clearing tables and were fast with the desserts for the kids menus. They also were very professional in dealing with an angry customer who was not happy about his food and was trying to cause a scene. On a side note we went September time so maybe that's considered out of season and that could be why our experience was not as great as other on here.

No volveré.

Parar, comer y seguir.

This is probably the worst service I’ve ever had - they made a mistake with our food not only once, but twice, and waiting a long time in between each mistake while having a hostile attitude towards us. All I asked for was an entry dish without cheese, and the server said they would make a salad without it. After the sever brought the same salad with cheese for the third time, instead of apologizing the manager blamed us for not mentioning I was allergic to cheese. Do I have to say I am allergic to a certain food to be taken seriously as a customer?. Then they ended up serving me a dry salad with no dressing option like olive oil or mayonnaise. Unbelievable!. I didn’t have the energy to keep complaining or wait any longer.

The rest of the food was barely a pass, which is why I’m giving it 2 stars instead of 1 - fish tacos were fine, but churros were cold and mushy.

Avoid this place at all costs - bad service was a huge red flag for me, plus food was...

READ IF YOU HAVE ALLERGIES- This place is very good with allergies! The staff went above and beyond for my partner. We informed them of the allergy and they sent out a server and manager to take our order. My partner wanted something that turned out contained an allergen. They informed us they could make this meal a different way without the allergen.

The meal took some time (completely understandable due to my partners severe allergy and how busy the place was at the time) the servers kept us updated and apologised for the wait. All food was prepared separate and again when the food was brought out they confirmed it was free from the allergen. This made us both feel very comfortable. All staff are well trained when it comes to allergens.

People may complain its expensive for what you get. It is costly for the portion size yes. But worth it if you...
