Biosfera Plaza Shopping Centre — Attraction in Tías

Very nice medium size shopping centre over 5 small floors with elevator and escalator access. Open air design with nearly all stores inside air conditioned. Lovely mix of Spanish and larger well known high street retailers. Kept very clean with good seating around for those with mobility issues or those just needing a break from the heat (some seating is sunny and some is shaded). The top floor is home to Jurassic crazy golf, a 6-D simulator and an outdoor cinema in the evenings. I only played golf which was quick and reasonably priced.

I would avoid McDonalds however, it was very very dirty, 20 minute wait on food and staff were very rude and ignorant. I will be making a seperate review for them.

Located on an elevated site above the old port in Puerto del Carmen the top floor offers some great views of the town. The Biosfera Shopping Centre is quite small but provides a great break from all the tourist shopping outlets on the seafront strip. Maintenance of the centre is excellent and the common areas and toilets are always spotless

Biosfera has a number of well known brands represented there - Zara, Pull & Bear, Guess, Oysho, Bershka, Foot Locker, Springfield, Timberland and a small Spar. It has a good selection of restaurants including a McDonalds. It is very easy to get to with a bus stop & taxi rank directly outside. 5 euro!. 2 bottles of water!.

Paid as was hot and thirsty but i think this is a good enough reason for any non native to avoid. I understand a buisness to run however on the floor above the man charges 50c for the same bottle of water.

Be careful of the shit goings on from "places" like this.

Other than that. Place is lovely. Very clean. Very well laid out. Quite scenic really. Some nice brands and at a little cheeper than uk which is always nice. Shame one place let the whole trip down.
