I joined the tour through Timanfaya Natural Park, a scenic route that led us to several panoramic viewpoints with stunning views of Caldera Blanca and the surrounding volcanic formations. The activity lasted around four hours, from 9:00 to 13:00. Halfway through, our guide prepared a small picnic with local products, smoked goat cheese, canarian mojo rojo sauce, island wine, dates, and olives. It was a thoughtful and more than welcome touch. The organization was excellent: I was picked up on time in Arrecife, the booking process was easy, and everything ran smoothly. But the real highlight was the guide, her passion and energy brought the entire experience to life. She spoke about the park, its history, unique landscape, different types of flora and fauna... with genuine enthusiasm, making every memorable. The scenery was breathtaking, the trail well-marked, and although it was windy and a bit chilly at first, the weather turned out perfect for hiking. Great value for money, especially when booking directly with the company as it is cheaper. Overall, an authentic, well-run, and inspiring experience. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to truly feel the volcanic spirit of...

Had the most amazing time hiking through the Timanfaya National Park with Sandra. It was perfect. A small group of only 4 people. Scheduled for a time when the sun was not too hot and the crowds were all gone. She plans every small detail to make the experience memorable. The meditation and the picnic are just the cherry on top. Sandra is very knowledgeable and a great story teller, she will tell you everything about the volcanoes, the rocks, the vegetation. She's passionate about the island and cares a lot about leaving nature exactly how you found it. Plus she's such a kind soul and brings a great energetic vibe. Oh, AND she speaks English, Spanish and Italian (and I think some German too!). I'm in awe. Hahah Thank you, Sandra! Everything was great. We'd love to go on another tour with you next time we come...

After doing a lot of research for an excursion in Lanzarote, I chose the Lanzarote: Timanfaya Natural Park Trekking Tour, and I am so glad I did! Sandra, the owner/guide is so passionate about sharing her island with you, including the volcanoes and more! You will definitely enjoy this hike, the views and the terrain, will learn a thing or two (and much more), and get to taste her delicious Mojo that she makes and provides along with some other goodies! Lastly, since this is her business, Sandra takes pride and goes out of her way to make sure she accommodates her clients, and that they enjoy her hike as well! I highly recommend booking an excursion with her if it fits into your schedule! Thank...

Unforgettable experience in a small group far from the mass tourism ! Sandra is nothing short of amazing. Not only she’s the kindest and sweetest person you’ll ever meet, what’s really touching is that she really does care about the island, the park, the volcanos and very knowledgeable about all the aspects of rock formations, eruptions, rock types and flora of Lanzarote. Choose 4pm for the visite, you’ll have all the volcanoes to yourself. I feel privileged and deeply moved like I was a witness of nature’s most deep secrets. It will stay with me forever. Thank you Sandra for this what feels like a very intimate moment with nature, volcanoe and the island you care so much of!

My wife and I visited Lanzarote for the first time in October 2024. It is a volcanic island, whose volcanoes can be seen in every part of the island. Excellent for studying volcanoes (and birdlife). The island is therefore full of lava tunnels. We used the company Lavatrekking to visit Volcán Santa Catalina (St Catalina Volcano). We had the excellent guide Sandra who gave us a personal tour. Sandra was very passionate and knowledgeable about her craft, and as a consequent we learned a lot of new things about the geographical landscape and the history of Lanzarote. Sandra looked after us. For the beautiful and unique scenery alone, I recommend Lavatrekking.
