Lovely intimate little bistro.
In traditional French style, the sauce is key to the success of the dish.
Each dish we ordered had a unique sauce that compliments the dish perfectly.
The accompanying sauce for the snails in pastry was light and delecate yet had layered flavours that enhanced the dish.
The.Beef Wellington was interesting; flakey pastry and succulent tender beef. No complaints there but I did feel that the sauce was a little overpowering. The remedy is to sip a little red wine along each bite; it was like a catalyst that evened out the flavours.
My wife had the frogs legs followed by the shoulder of lamb, again both dishes were a true taste sensation.
After desert and digestifs, my wife received a complementary red rose from the waiter, a nice touch.

My husband had half a duck,the meat fell from the bone. The gentleman and lady serving us were very efficient and pleasant. We had a complimentary brandy and all of the ladies got a red rose, such a nice touch.The restaurant was very busy, but everyone seemed so relaxed. Read moreTonight me and my girlfriend shared the pleasure of going to this wonderful place… Heard good things about it and can honestly say it’s the best food I’ve had in a very long time, we ordered frogs legs and french onion soup for starter both were sublime. Next we had our mains my girlfriend decided on the roast duck in a cherry sauce whilst I had chicken Montmartre… Wow my mouth had an orgasm it was that delicious. The staff are very friendly and polite and you even get an alchoholic drink with your bill (we chose baileys). All in all this is a must go experience for anyone in the area 10/10...
