I stayed 5 nights in room 83, one bedroom apartment with my husband. Booking was easy on their website - go directly to them as they sometimes have better deals and discounts than 3rd party websites. I asked for a higher level away from any noise and that is what I got. The apartment looked very new and was spacious and rooms are clean and nice smelling. The cleaning staff comes to clean & change bedding & towels every 3 days and replenish toilet roll, shower gel and hand soap. The kitchen had all the amentities needed -fridge and small freezer compartment, kettle, microwave, toaster, utensils. Lounge/dining area had a sofa dining table and 4 chairs and a good size flat TV screen which I managed to find a Spanish channel that televised England vs Germany match! I was impressed by the size of the bathroom- a very big shower with a powerful rainfall shower head. The bedroom was of a good size and the window had extra metal shutters which you can open and close from the inside - handy for my husband who cannot sleep with any form of light coming through the curtains. The bed and pillows are very comfortable and we slept well. The air con was powerful and much needed in the warm temperature we had of 30 plus degrees. Wifi connection was good and fast. 4 big lifts on either side of the building made it so that we can go up and down to and from reception at safe distances from each other without queuing to use the lifts. They have 2 dining areas on the ground floor by reception where you can purchase breakfast/snacks. They also sell essential toiletries at reception if you forgotten to pack things. The reception team are friendly and very helpful. They speak good English. I had to extend my booking from 2 nights to an extra 3 nights due to unforseen circumstances and they let me stay on in the same apartment at a discount price so I was really thankful. They can help book taxi's at reception - you will need to request one with a child seat if travelling with a child less than 12 years of age (or a child less that 5 foot in height) according to Spanish Law. The location is ideal if you are not too fussed about being too central to the city centre - this is about a half hour walk cutting through Turia Garden from the apartment which is a pleasant walk. All the main sightseeing is walking distance or there is a bus stop a 6 min walk away bus number 95 that takes you near Plaza de Virgen in the City Centre where most of the free walking tours start - bus journey about 30 mins and buses are frequent about every 10 mins. The metro is very close by also so you are spoilt for choice for mode of transport. Not much in terms of decent restaurants within 10 min walk of the apartment but we packed a lunch during the day and ate out in the city or beach in the evenings. Having the kitchen in the apartment was great to prepare food and plenty of supermarkets near by to stock up on supplies.||Overall I will definitely be making this my go to place to stay in Valencia, it meets all of my requirements and more and is cheaper than most places I have looked at for what you get so good value for money. If you prefer a location that is a bit out of the city centre in a quieter location but within reach of all the tourist attractions, I would recommend booking here. You will not be disappointed. The only thing I would change for next time is request a room with a balcony but I am not sure if they charge extra for that. Other than that a great stay - I...
Read morePleasantly surprised by how well the staff handled a hotels worst nightmare situation: a tired family with kids checking into an unclean room in the late evening hours when the hotel was fully booked. Front desk was apologetic and had us store our luggage while they organised to have the room cleaned. In the mean time, we decided to walk and get some groceries at the nearby Lidl, so we could prepare food when we got back to the hotel (and have snacks for our travels the next day). Room was pretty much ready when we came back, and they did a very nice job, thank you! Rooms were prepared with plenty of clean linens, soaps/towels in bathroom, kitchen was clean and stocked with dishes/essentials. (FYI: bring your own coffee for coffee maker). Next morning, we were greeted by a kind housekeeping staff member who also apologised for the situation. Management kindly offered to reimburse us for parking fees for the inconvenience and we are very grateful. I would recommend this hotel as location is decent, staff is helpful and speaks English, there is parking with a fee, and they offer breakfast. Room was clean but could use some minor maintenance (bathroom wear and tear)....
Read moreWe stayed on the third floor for four days. Our room's window faced the entrance, and I must say that the noise level in the hotel was consistently high. From morning until bedtime, we could hear doors slamming and people shouting in the corridor. Even between 1 and 3 a.m., there were groups of people outside the hotel on the benches, talking and laughing loudly as if they were at a picnic. The staff didn't make any effort to ask these guests to keep the noise down.
Message to the owners: Please consider putting up signs inside and outside the hotel, reminding guests to be quiet and respectful. These signs could help, especially for those who may not have been taught proper manners. It would be beneficial to place noticeable signs in each corridor and in front of the hotel.
"Sssshhhh… people might be trying to sleep."
I wish I could give more stars, but perhaps next time, if I ever return.
Thank you for your attention to...
