This is a new hotel, which shows. There are things I think they could improve on. I contacted the hotel prior to arrival and they were really helpful answering all my questions specially Letitia. She also checked us in when we arrived so that was nice to match a face to the emails. All the reception staff is very welcoming, friendly and nothing is too much for them. Arturo, Elena and Carolina were all amazing. We booked a superior room and our room faced the street but the soundproofing is really good and hardly heard anything. The room was nicely decorated and spacious. Bed is comfy and the pillows are really comfortable too. Bathroom is lovely too and the shower pressure was really good. We did find paint spots on the flooring and under the bed, must have been in a hurry to paint the room to finish. The hotel provides a glass bottle which you can fill up at the stations at other floors with water. The TV has limited channel options but it has a cast option so you can connect your favourite app like prime and watch in on the TV. There is kettle and coffee and tea but no milk. Housekeeping never replaced tea or coffee, always had to try and chase and ask. We later found out that housekeeping is not hotel staff but outside agency and not always the same people come back to clean. The housekeeping is also very slow and many rooms are not ready for check in and we came back one evening at 8pm to find housekeeping just starting to clean the room. This also need improved. The breakfast has lots of options, there are several stations for different food. It is a bit chaotic after 9:30am as it got crowded and no free tables or clean cutlery. The eggs were cold every morning. The pool was open and the water was ice cold but it's only April so might warm up later during summer. The pool area is lovely and has nice seating. I think there is a missed opportunity there to have a hot tub installed too at the pool level. The hotel has a skybar (only open Wed to Sunday) however you can only pay by card or cash and cannot charge it to your room. The prices in the bar are very high, one small beer and a coke cost 10euro. The food option in the skybar is very limited and unimaginative. If you'd like ice from the bar to take it to your room it depends who is working. One day I got a glass of ice, the next they could only gave me in a small plastic cup because the policy is you cannot have glass in room or pool area. Which is interesting as the room has 2 sets of glasses in it already. They also give you huge chunks of ice which they buy in bags as the ice machine they have makes small ice and they are only allowed to use it for cocktails. If you have a problem in the room, they are quick to fix it. The hotel just opened their restaurant when we were there. However they didn't have printed menus, asked us to go on instragram and see the menu there. The restaurant's decor is jungle themed and it is actually quite nice. This is one of the other problem, they have no printed anything. There is a QR code you can scan in your room to find out about hotel services. I understand that this is a new age and trying to save paper but our phones don't scan codes. They also seem to have a room service but no information in the room about it and it only opens around 7:30pm but cannot comment on menu or anything as we didn't use it. They also have a small coffee shop in the hotel but we didn't use that either. The hotel is in a good location, right next to a shopping mall so lots of options for restaurants. It's also close to metro station, bus stops and to...

Read moreStayed for 4 nights as a girly trip with my best friend.||We booked a twin superior room, but with Accor membership, got an upgrade. This enabled us to have a room with use of the minibar, which gave us soft drinks and beer, crisps and chocolate, all replenished daily.||The room wasn’t a bad size and had okay storage for clothes. Bed was very comfy.||The shower room was quite small, but the shower was nice and powerful with nice products and good hairdryer. ||There was a pod coffee machine as well as a kettle. Replenishment of the pods and milk was a bit haphazard. Some days no milk was left, another no new pods, suddenly one day we got tea bags, of which there had been none previously.||We asked for an iron and ironing board and these were delivered to the room.||The shower room on arrival had a smell of bad drains, although this smell went once we had both showered. The corridor to our 11th floor nearly always smelt of drains and one morning before going out for the day, the bedroom smelt badly of bad drains. We mentioned it at Reception on our way out and they were going to send someone to investigate. By the time we came back several hours later, the smell had gone so didn’t want the inconvenience of moving rooms. There quite clearly is an issue somewhere though.||The lifts were a little bizarre. You had to hold your key on a pad and then press your desired floor (as is often the case). On several occasions the floor obviously hadn’t registered and the lift went nowhere, but the lights all went out and we were left in complete darkness and had to fumble around to get the floor number pressed in for the lights to come on and the lift then moved. Would be scary if you were on your own.||Huge roof terrace with pool one end and several loungers the other. Towels provided. A really lovely area to have in a City and to come back to after a day of exploring.||We didn’t use breakfast facility.||There are water stations on a few of the floors to be able to fill up water bottles.||Location good, very close to Turia metro station. Easy to navigate from the airport. About a 20 min walk to where bars, restaurants etc are and then a little further to central market, cathedral etc. Large shopping centre and a supermarket next to the hotel.||All in all would definitely recommend and would stay again. They just need to sort out the smell issue and be a bit more on the ball with replenishing items...
