Great Irish pub near centre of Visby. Authentic British/Irish food. Great assortment of scotch and whiskey. Always some "guests" at the beer menu. Most often simmering of cheering guests listening to live music (a few times a week).

Have now visited this great pub several times over many years and have always enjoyed it. A suggestion is to have a weekly or monthly special because the menu has looked the same for man years now.

Well worth the extra mile if visiting Gotland and if inside the walls of Visby this is a must.

Unexpectedly nice place, and the only one that had Wisby sour ales (not that I checked all the places on town though). The brisket sandwich exceeded expectations as well. The best place is the backyard, well isolated from tourists. They have even the loudspeakers isolated in birdhouses. So, even though being an Irish pub, it has some touch of local treats, and is actually located in a rather authentic old house. The staff was nice, too. Stairs into the backyard are apparently slippery when wet, but there seems to be a side entrance from another...

Upon initial asking, the serving personnel informed that the roasted vegetable lasagna was free from nuts. It was not.

Word of advice for anyone allergic; the lasagna is topped with pesto. This is not written out on the menu. Only avoided ingesting due to carefully inspecting before eating, and then double-checking with more senior serving staff.

I do not blame staff for this; this was a failure of management. The pesto should be documented on the menu, and the staff should be adequately trained on the content and preparation process of the...
