Review of Slottsparken, Malmö
Slottsparken in central Malmö is an incredibly large and beautiful park, offering versatility with plenty of activities. There are cafés, a library, a dog park, playgrounds, spaces for rounders, garden centers, and occasionally even a circus. The park also features a windmill, insect hotels, and many exotic plants and trees. It’s an excellent spot for picnics and socializing with friends.
However, one significant downside is the removal of the cruising area for gay men, which had historically been a meeting place for the LGBTQ+ community. This exclusion has turned the park into a more mainstream space, losing some of its unique, inclusive character.
As it stands now, Slottsparken is a pleasant, lush, and green park in a great location. It offers nothing particularly distinctive but remains a charming place for relaxation and casual activities....
