An absolute winner! The only negative thing I can mention, is that even early on the day, nothing was available from the small menu, except the dish I wanted and the fish’n’chips, so lucky me I guess. I had the laxtallrik (smoked salmon, potato salad and sour cream sauce) and all three components on the plate were absolute bangers. The potato salad was perfectly balanced. The cold sauce was too, with a lovely dill taste and salty notes from fish roe mixed in and this made the sauce a perfect match with the smoked salmon. The salmon was greasy, fatty and flavorful and just heavenly with the sauce. I ordered at the register but had to pick up utensils and bring them to my table in the cozy little garden. The staff brings the food to the table and I have to say, the staff were so friendly and helpful. As I am writing this review while finishing the meal I already find myself thinking of when I will be back and have my next opportunity...

If you like fish - this is the place to eat!! We were here for lunch (incl. my two boys (9 and 11 years)) and we can recommend the very tasty and fresh fish - especially the fish&chips and the salmon plate (laxtallrik)! There is a cosy outdoor seating area at the back of the “hoddan” (fish stalls). …at the height of summer, we managed to get into the queue to order our fish & chips! It’s a row of shops selling fresh seafood and this corner shop serves up fantastic fish & chips! The cod fish was fresh and I have to say it was a decent size with lots of chips. The batter was not too greasy and we devoured our food quite quickly!
