Been looking forward to Wings Wednesday for a while but wasn’t expecting such a disappointment from the BrewDog crew who otherwise have always delivered. “All you can eat” quickly turned into “whatever we serve you”. You can only book for one hour but you might get an extension if there are no-shows. In that one hour we barely got 3 servings.
First serving came and it was delicious. The wings were so good! We eagerly put in our second order but it took 30 minutes to get because the waitress forgot to punch in our order. She seemed to ignore us so her colleague came and apologized, bringing us our second serving but forgot the dip. Then our third serving came with the wrong sauces. We were told we needed to clear the table when our hour was almost up although half our time was wasted on the crew’s confusion. They were kind enough to move us to another table although we could have easily stayed, instead placing the newcomers on another table.
The food was delicious but we barely enjoyed it since the waiters stressed us out with delays and unprofessional attitude. The waitress showed little empathy despite wasting half our time. The team leader was nice but then practically yelled at some other patrons to go order their drinks from the bar which clearly soured everyone’s mood. We wanted to order more but after that we decided we were not happy there so we left.
I’ll come back to BrewDog, hoping they’re not this...
Read moreThe place has good environment to meet friends and have a good time. However we were very dissatisfied with how we were treated by the staff. We got there without reservation and we stayed in the bar. We were told we could get a table that was reserved until 18:00 and we could keep the table if the people didn’t arrive by 18:15. When it was close to 18:15 the waiter came and said they called saying they would arrive 19:00. Later on they came again and said that they called again and they would arrive 19:30. At 19:25 they arrived and we were kicked out of our table. So the big question is: why did they accept the rebooking instead of just canceling their booking? If one book and can’t get on time and miss the 15 minutes tolerance time, then one should lose the right to the table, right? Not at this place. So my low review is for that. Beer and food was good, but they should apply good sense and respect customers that are there wasting money over booking customers who don’t...
Read moreHad very disappointing Experience at this BrewDog pub. We were enjoying a relaxing Saturday afternoon there. The pub was half-empty, and we had settled comfortably into our spot, with our coats and shopping bags neatly placed.
However, our evening was disrupted when a large group of nine people, including several children, walked in without a reservation. Instead of explaining that there wasn’t enough space for such a group, the staff decided to relocate us to accommodate them. Without much choice, we had to pack up, move to another part of the pub, and resettle, completely disrupting our experience.
While we understand the importance of accommodating customers, this felt incredibly unfair and inappropriate. Moving settled guests to make space for a walk-in group left us feeling unvalued and took away all...
