Castello di Morcote — Attraction in Circolo di Carona

A misleading website of the Castello and several other touristic sites sent us to the castle. There wasn’t anything on the site to make us believe that it would be closed to public, no mention of it being completely private. It looks like a winery and a castle, like many is france, Italy, etc. However, we forgot that we were in Switzerland, a place with ample private roads, private cafes and apparently private wineries/castles.... don’t go unless you call them in advance I guess. Keep in mind they won’t...

Easy to reach there by public transportation from Melide, Beautiful place, many hiking routes, quite, clean and not there are not...
