TITLIS Xpress — Attraction in Engelberg

The facility and staff are good and do their best to manage the unwieldy crowds that routinely arrive by bus every morning from nearby Lucerne. The crowds are the problem in my opinion. These are tourists from South Asia, and evidently in keeping with the prevailing mentality of that region, there’s no apparent observance of personal space or self control. Upon attempting to disembark the cable car, I personally witnessed adults overwhelming small children in their own midst to get in the cable car - before the riders could even get out! It was a ‘mob mentality, the likes of which one might see in a movie setting. We encountered similar behavior in other parts of Switzerland and Europe. Very poor behavior. If you must see this attraction, I recommend you go after 2 or 3...

A massive disappointment. To charge full price when it's in this state is an absolute joke. The top is hideous with that much construction. There is ZERO organisation. I saw two people having panic attacks in the ice cave because people walk both ways and block everyone In. The chairlifts we're a shambles and would stop every 20 ft and even go into reverse randomly.

Obviously beautiful place with superb ambience. Can visit any season here and it will be same except snow fall in winter. Parking available for bikes, cars and buses. Rope car to climb up the titlis.
