Yucatan Kitchen&Bar — Restaurant in Engelberg

Ended up here with bunch after hiking in the evening. Did not have reservation but the waitress did good accommodating 10-11 people. She was friendly and quick to set tables. Went to washroom and forgot to oder drinks, the guy who came back with others drink order was little surprised to see i don't have a drink and he asked me, what about you? I said I will have Murphy's and he was right on it. I like this kind of service!

I had selection starter and chicken burger for main. The burger was good and came with fries and coleslaw. Good quantity and tasted nice!

Overall, I liked the restaurant.

We entered to the resturaunt and told that we want to drink a cup of coffee or tea and may be to eat later. The waiter said if it's maybe you need to seat in the separate empty area. My girlfriend was hungry and it was pretty late so we decided to entry any way despite on the bad feeling. My girlfriend has a healthy issue, she can't eat fat food. Once another waiter came, we asked if they have options of low fat food, she looked on us weird and told that we can remove anything from the meal but the price will be the same. The food was below average...but what was worse was the service.The lady taking the order walked off in the middle because it seems she got tired of suggesting what might be a good option to eat. When asked politely if we could get some mustard sauce with the food, we were told to wait since she had other tables to go to before she could get any for us. It took a full 15 mins before we could get a small bowl of it. Had to literally beg for the bill so we could get out of there. DONT WASTE your time...
