Absolutely rubbish. Came all the way from UK with my family for a road trip. Booked a reverse ticket said 13:45 from Eigergletscher to Jungfraujoch, when arrived Eigerletscher station, staff told me it’s the next train after it. What a nonsense logic. Staffs were rude to explain why and refuse further explanation. Wasted 30 minutes in there doing nothing. When you finally arrived the top, you will find the place is full of group tourist, making the place extremely chaos and dangerous. Please be careful if you are bringing your little one, because people will not watch their way and crash into others. And you will no staff even trying to organize the order.
Lack of instructions with the closing time of the outdoor area.
Although the view is stunning, management and service are absolutely rubbish. I would give zero star to the management if I can, not even to mention the way way...

You have to be relatively fit to do it thoug. The elevation gain is only around 200 meters, but in high mountains it becomes more challenging. I found it much easier than I thought, but then I'm quite fit and regularly do the hikes more than 1000m incline. I've seen people struggling with it so judge your abilities. Hiking poles are very...
Read moreWandering out onto the plateau was fun. The snow was well compacted by the tourism. There was no wind, which meant it was also quite warm. There is a awesome photo opportunity with the Swiss flag in front of snow covered peaks, which seemed almost mandatory. The 360 degree views were stunning when we were there, although I’m mindful that we were outside. Check the weather first as it is a fairly costly exercise to get to the top (100-200CHF). There are live cameras showing the top on the MeteoBlue website (this is not a promotion, lol. The information centre just mentioned it was the local weather station to check out, and it...
