Meat has no fat in it, even when cooking it for 3/5 seconds it still taste overcooked. Everyone else ordered fried noodle, tried it also disappointed. I guess those who recommended this place never had any authentic ones.

常常到處吃美食,不過目前我人生中有兩種食物從來沒有吃過讓我覺得好吃的,一個是汕頭火鍋,一個是印度烤雞,踩雷無數從未失手!
此次在新竹得知有家知名汕頭火鍋的老店,想當然耳身為美食探險家怎麼可能會錯過幫這些食物雪恥的機會....... 這次到訪是位在新竹城隍廟旁市場的老店「西市汕頭館_總店」,用餐環境因為在菜市場裏,所以看起來是不太乾淨就是,不過老店就是這樣才會有美味的反差,不過此次用餐經驗真的是我想太多了 XD
我們點了沙茶牛肉火鍋(350元),此價格含一盤牛肉、一盤高麗菜盤、火鍋湯底,而火鍋湯底是用大量的沙茶和一些蕃茄調味,個人覺得湯頭和他們沾醬沙茶都是屬味死鹹型然後帶點花生和中葯香氣,不太合個人口味......
另牛肉盤份量算是多且有別於台南是切的比較厚,約涮個四五下即要起鍋,不然會太柴,肉是說使用溫體牛,吃起來鮮度還不錯,但沒有牛味(有點怪),至於這過鍋底使用沙茶是重口味的,他們的湯頭沙茶個人覺得有個問題,就是不管丟什麼東西下去,都只能吃到沙茶的味道就是,我們還有點豆皮、魚餃、牛肉丸,都很普通,牛肉丸和平常新竹摃丸一樣很Q彈的口感,但只是新竹摃丸的正常發揮,完全吃不出牛味,如果不說會覺得就只是豬肉摃丸,至於豆皮、魚餃完全無記憶點就是......
另我們還點了沙茶牛肉炒麵,炒沙茶有濃稠感和軟爛的麵條,而沙茶帶點苦味和油耗味,沒有很喜歡...... 總結,此次挑戰汕頭火鍋對於我個人來說仍是未找到個人覺得好吃的,目前吃過台北、台南、高雄的汕頭火鍋許多名店,個人覺得只要掛汕頭風味的沙茶都是屬味死鹹型,難道汕頭火鍋就是這種口味?!其實我也不確定,但我人生吃到目前為止是這麼覺得.....(茶)
另外目前是夏天,但店內沒有開冷氣,只有電風扇,不知是不是防疫考量,個人覺得有點太熱,怕熱的人最好先確定一下當天是否有開冷氣就是 XD 不過個人是完全不推此店就是!
