Keelung Harbour Excursion & Seafood Lunch
One of the must do’s when in Taipei, is the short 40 minute drive to Keelung and it’s Harbour
Taiwan’s northernmost Harbour, famed for its amazing fresh seafood (which Taiwan is generally known for) is simply a must!
Mostly when we went before to Keelung, it was regarding the night market, old town etc. this time we opted to do a lunchtime trip which we thoroughly enjoyed, especially catching up with an old team member of ours, who brought us around and naturally he took us beside a nice walk to his favourite Seafood Haunt!
Today unfortunately the selection was somewhat limited as the Boats were not able to ship out the night before, due to weather conditions , which is quite natural during this time of the year! Yet the selection we ordered was fresh and super tasty!
From the Famed Oyster Omelette, via crispy white bait, to superb Clams, stir fried cabbage, to a Garoupa cooked two ways, soupy and steamed. It was an exceptional lunch experience which we enjoyed!
Keelung is definitely worth a trip if you enjoy Taiwanese traditions
