永和的迷你兒童樂園 對孩子來說，任何地方都是遊樂場，只要有無窮的想像力，和適合的玩伴。這座公園就是一般的罐頭式遊樂場，加上大人的體健設施，如此而已。但更多的樂趣，還在後頭。

這時需要陪伴者的加入，或是其他聚集在此的隨機小玩伴。我是這麼做的，也要歸功里長放置的三輪車和滑板車。我和小王子分坐兩台三輪車，當然大人會辛苦一點，例如屁股會有點不舒服。不過，重點是互動。開始和他追逐，同時要眼觀四面耳聽八方，和孩子玩，也要保護其他孩子。

永和地狹人稠，公園顯得特別珍貴。好處是容易一下子來了許多小朋友。大人這時就開始找尋合適玩伴，順便也讓孩子可以學習人際關係的養成。這些都需要大人的陪伴與引導，才能讓平凡的公園，變得不平...

公園的前生是法務部調查局的員工宿舍 佔地189坪約625平方公尺，人走屋空，就在政府準備騰空標售之際，里長透過永和都市計畫通盤檢討，提案保留為社區公園綠地，終獲通過變更使用分區為兒童遊樂場用地，100年5月2日落成啓用，園區花木扶疏，植有櫻，楓，紫蕂，大紫薇，阿勃勒，辛夷，油桐，杜鵑，山茶，金露華，大鄧伯 ，法國海棠 ，醉芙蓉，還有一株銀杏。頗具觀賞價值， 尤其在樹幹上綁滿了回收的蘭花，花兒四季輪流綻放，真的是美不勝收。辛苦的認養志工，每天早午輪流打掃，美麗又乾淨，深得入園遊客好評，春朝秋夕...
