Excellent facilities, lovely grounds with nicely landscaped gardens and an artificial lake. Guided tours (in Mandarin) made the exhibits more interesting. The restaurants were very disappointing despite the beautiful space and view - completely inappropriate seating ruins the dining experience. They expect diners to eat soup noodles etc from low sofas and tiny side table. They should either change the menu to a bar menu or get some proper...

Five plus stars for the tour guide and the staff at the residence - everyone was sooooo nice, extremely knowledgeable, and enthusiastic about history. Really enjoyed this part. The staff really made our visit!

The cafe is also very beautiful- great views of the water and the grand hotel. You do have to make a purchase to see the view though.

The check in process was a bit confusing (tour times as well as difficulty with scanning the...

My first visit ever to tour the former President’s residence. It’s quite nice to learn a lot of history but would be better to have a complete story instead of just filtered info. Frankly speaking, I read “the book” when I was in the US. Nobody is perfect, I would say that he is the person who contributed the most for Taiwan’s economy & democracy in a way. As always, the best part for this visit is the chatting with my...

Newly renovated museum/park/cafe. It's worth coming here. They have a tour inside the residence of Chiang Kou Chi Hai. It's nothing special. You can discard the political angle of the place to come here just for the environment. Very green with a nice lake in the middle. There's a very nice cafe as well here. The tour cost 180NTD
