Ching-Kuo Chi-Hai Cultural Park — Attraction in Taipei

Excellent facilities, lovely grounds with nicely landscaped gardens and an artificial lake. Guided tours (in Mandarin) made the exhibits more interesting. The restaurants were very disappointing despite the beautiful space and view - completely inappropriate seating ruins the dining experience. They expect diners to eat soup noodles etc from low sofas and tiny side table. They should either change the menu to a bar menu or get some proper...

Five plus stars for the tour guide and the staff at the residence - everyone was sooooo nice, extremely knowledgeable, and enthusiastic about history. Really enjoyed this part. The staff really made our visit!

The cafe is also very beautiful- great views of the water and the grand hotel. You do have to make a purchase to see the view though.
