This used to be a decent-sized (by Taipei standards) park with lots of greens, but it got "improved" about a year ago. The end result reduced the grassy area by 1/3, with lots of new concrete area now connecting directly to the entrance of Nangang (train) Station. There's still plenty of room for gathering and playground, but...

The park is located in front of Nangang Station, and aside the Nangang Road. Although it's not a big park, it's the only one along Nangang's thoroughfare.

The park has a history of 40 years. Several years ago, since the Nangang Station was upgraded to a three-railway combined station, this park had also been reformed, so now it looks...

南興公園地理位置優越，就位於三鐵共構的南港車站北側，步出南港車站北側出口，即是南興公園。南興公園旁另一重要地標是南港區行政中心，在公園北側，隔著南港路，面面相對。 南興公園前面即是公車站，往來公車甚多。所以，除台鐵、高鐵、捷運板南線以外，也有公車行經南興公園。 這公園裡種有許多大樹，樹木附近多設有座椅，可供休憩，造景優美。期盼未來還能擴大植栽面積，俾能給南港區帶來更多清新的空氣，造福市民。 這公園有造型特殊的火車溜滑梯，也有鞦韆等遊樂設施，可供兒童玩耍。遊樂設施鋪設厚墊，以防兒童受傷，十分貼心。 南港車站建築物內即有百貨公司，餐廳也多，是市民娛樂性十足的活動空間。在建築物內如果走累了，不妨來南興公園透氣，可坐在公園的椅上看看天空與植物，享受都市美好的新一面。
