A small night market, Shuangcheng is located on a short alley running north to south between Nong'an street, lane 12/17 and south to lane 13, Shuangcheng streets. There are around three dozen vendors here, some of which provide table seating.
In addition to the street vendors, there are of course permanent shops adding to the variety, not only along the street, but also running to the east, along lane 17.
In addition, the traditional, day time markets is immediately to the west, running along lane 12 and adjacent to Shuangcheng street. The traditional marketplace is fully, the entire city block and fully covered to protect from weather.
Though the combined area, is expansive, once the traditional market and the cafes and eateries to the east on Lane 17 are excluded, the night market itself is limited and I did not find any unique foods here and would consider this below average when compared to other small night markets, with Ningxia to the south attracting most of the customer in the area, stunting it's growth.
For locals though, there is an added bonus which is Qingguang Park, which boarders the south. This park includes drinking water fountains and a playground, which increases the neighborhood's functionality for families.

A 5 minutes walk to this night market from our hotel nearby. It was past dinner time and the street was still filled with people. Lots of food stalls serving up mouth watering local delights.
We picked up some sweet pastry and a cup of bubble tea. Skipped the rest as we had a heavy dinner just moment ago. Guess we have to come back another time to try them all out again.
