The ticket costs 750+,is overpriced, very expensive given the drinks that were offered, those drinks were basically small sample sized drinks and some mixed too much with sugary water. Even though the ad said free entry, discount etc, but all the bars are free entry for everybody anyway, and the discounts were also not that much, other bars near by somehow have better deals. We easily got about 5 servings of regular sized drinks else where spending less than the ticket.

Your experience can also be bad if the tour guide just want to get off work early. we had a short hair, big size girl tour guide led the tour, but since the beginning she seemed bored like she didn't want to be there, even gave a bad attitude to our group for smoking, so we left early without finishing all the bars. But our other group of friends signed up for the next day, and had a very fun time. we joined them after at the last stop, the host Charlies stayed with us and was very cool to show us all the other bars around and gave us good traveling ideas. So the experience varies a lot depends on who leads the group.

The weekend was busy in Taiwan and difficult to spoil however there were a couple of concerns. 1) there were already a couple of participants who came earlier than the pubcrawl master. 2) the stops were fewer than other pubcrawls. 3) The pubcrawl master could have been more engaging with the rest of the participants. There were others who were left behind not just in the actual commute between stops but were also left behind in the conversations. 4) with the anticipated deluge of people this halloween weekend, it should have been better planned that some stops might get impacted. The last 2 stops were not good. In the tiki bar, we could not even sit together. There were changes to the stops due to the halloween events happening in the area. So it was chaotic towards the end.
