Found this little gem during my recent visit to Taipei. When we opted to try this hotel, I was little apprehensive. But once I was there, I was proven wrong.
The rooms are clean and well maintained. The housekeeping are also good.
The reception was impeccable, courteous and helpful, despite our sometimes difficult requests. I was so impressed that I cancelled my plan of moving to another hotel during the stay.
This is a good place to stay if you want the homely feeling. I love the lobby.
They do not serve breakfast, but not to worry. Lots of great eating places are within walking distance.
Downside
(the only thing that prevented me from giving them five stars)
Sound proofing. It is a little weak. Since it is located in quiet area, you can hear your neighbour talking (especially when they little excited).

Staff is very friendly and a lot more professional than in our 4 star Hotel in Kaohshiong. The bed is good and here they have a nice rain shower in the bathroom. Clean bathroom which is a plus point for me, towels might need to change to new ones soon as the ones i used have some torn holes. Water pressure is decent too, and the room is nice. Walls kind of thin because of the size and limited space, but i don’t blame it at all.
