There are 4 activities in this museum. I just have tried 2, exhibition and cosmic adventure. Exhibition consists of 4 floors. The time needed to actually read each one at a time can be more than 3 hours. Yesterday, when I only a glimpse of seeing it, already spent 2-3 hours.
Each floor has a theme. For example the second floor is related to the solar system, the 3rd floor is related to natural phenomena in space. Each floor uses a lot of interactive technology. Visitors can see for themselves what is happening. For example, how tornedoes are formed, how rockets glide, Newton's law 3, various types of gamma rays, infra red and so on, Keppler law, the process of crescent to full moon, rotation, revolution, meteor shower, etc. it is so many. I have not tried all of them. But don't worry, the tickets that we buy have QR codes that can record what we have learned (put in a ticket machine in each section of the exhibition) and continue to learn at home. This is a very good idea, so our learning is not interrupted.
Entrance fee is 40ntd (general) and 20ntd (students and special needs) for the exhibition. Preschool is free to enter the exhibition. Toilets and waiting rooms are on each floor and cornered. The waiting room can be for eating and drinking or taking a short break.
This museum is highly recommended for all ages. Infants who can crawl can also enjoy this exhibition because of the various types of images and light that is displayed.
Cosmic Adventure Forum - Taipei Astronomical Museum
One vehicle for learning about spaceship shaped ball. This ball has capacity of 3 people. We will be invited to explore to see the sun, meteorites, some planets, black holes and images of aliens. The time needed is around 12-20 minutes from the start until finish. Make sure before entering, you do not have a phobia with a narrow and dark space, heart disease, pregnancy, high blood pressure, or the elderly because there are swivels that can make you dizzy, although the child actually laughs.
Pre-school age already paid the ticket. For general 70ntd. Pre-school and student (including doctoral students) pay half (35ntd). Opening time Only 9.30-16.00. Location on the 4th floor. Not allowed to eat and drink. There is an English explanation. . Highly recommended for children aged 2 years and over and young adults (not the elderly). Will be an exciting experience for your baby.

I recently visited the Taipei Astronomical Museum, and I have to say it was such a fun and interesting experience. I’m not a big science or space expert, but this museum really made everything easy to understand and enjoyable.
The Dome Theater was definitely a highlight. and the show takes you through the black hole topic. They even explain the constellations after the film, which is perfect for someone like me who doesn’t know much about stars.they have English headsets.
There’s also a 3D Theater. Kids would really love this part. I had so much fun wearing the 3D glasses.
My favorite was the Cosmic Adventure ride. It’s like taking a trip through space in the future! The ride lasts about 10 minutes, and you sit in a small spaceship while going on a tour of the solar system. The effects are amazing—it really feels like you’re floating through space and meet the aliens. must-try if you visit.
Overall, the Taipei Astronomical Museum is great for beginners like me, and it’s easy to enjoy even if you don’t know much about space. The staff were also super friendly. I totally recommend it if you’re in Taipei and have lots of...
