Cool shopping experience but you need to barter a lot. Be aware that some shops don't let you touch the bagged garments and you are to look at the ones hung up and ask for it. Do be advised that you should check the quality before you purchase from the bag.

I found that even with bartering the prices amount to the same as the shops in the night market if you don't speak taiwanese. When I used my broken taiwanese I got better discounts.

The clothing selection is varied. You have your cute sweaters and some office ware but mostly casual girl outfits. The male stores tend to give way better prices because of the lack of customers. We got a blazer from 1600 nt to 1350 whereas a women's sweater they priced at 1350 and dropped to 1000 but I'm pretty sure I could have gotten way less from hearing their conversation. (I understand the language but can't speak well so I bartered...

Didn't really like this place. Most of the stuff were displayed folded in bags placed on the floor so it's not convenient to look through. There are motorcycles passing through the roads constantly and the store owners are also smoking so the clothes probably don't smell nice and aren't very clean, and it's not a great experience for you either. I feel like most of the stores pivoted to online sales during the pandemic so the physical spaces are more like warehouses now. Some of them don't do physical sales at all and some aren't willing to entertain physical customers. The stores that do have clothes hung up tend to have clothes that are pretty dated so I wouldn't recommend coming here. Prices aren't particularly cheap either. I did however get milk tea from a cute store in the middle of the...

As other reviewers have noted, this shopping district is meant for wholesalers. Retail buyers, I.e., buying onesie / twosie items, are also welcome…at most places. General rules: You pick what you like from what’s hanging on the walls / racks - don’t touch the clothes in the bags on the floor; You can’t try anything on; Most items are ‘One Size Fits Most’, made for Asian (read: small-framed) bodies Don’t try to bargain unless you’re buying more than one item. Keep in mind they’re not making much money off of the retail customers; they don’t have much incentive to give you a discount. What everyone else says about the motorbikes, trucks, smoking shops-persons, is true. But if you enjoy a hunt - for unique clothes + bargains - you will enjoy...

Place is ok for some bargain of apparels. However, the alleys and walkways are constantly filled with motorcycles and e-scooters going back and forth so it quite dangerous to shop peacefully having the need to frequently look out for vehicles. I know I might get slammed for this, but hear me out: These streets require better planning to attract higher footfall while ensuring goods can still be delivered to the shop fronts without the need to personally ride in and out. Yes convenience is irreplaceable, but profits can be achieved without such allowance of traffic mixing with pedestrians. Just look at good examples from neighbouring countries like Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore etc., you will kinda get the idea...
