This place is relaxing and history rich. We enjoyed collecting stamps and do other activities such as calligraphy writing, virtual hunting, and strolling around the beautiful lake. We also want to thank the lady who's in charge of the calligraphy writing section because she taught us a lot (although we don't know how to write any Chinese characters hahahaha) and speak to us as if we're locals. She is really nice! You can use the QR code beside the art to really dive to its meaning and meet the artist behind it. If you're foreign like us, just use Google Translate. You can also ask for some magazines or guide maps at the info center. Entrance fee is 100NT when we went there. Now, if you're tired roaming around (for there are a lot to see), try to visit their Café Souvenir shop. The view there was stunning! You can also buy some souvenirs like post cards, mugs, coffee beans, notebooks, and other stationery items. If you're artsy like us, try to collect stamps just right under the glass map in the entrance. We'll definitely go...

I like this place, architecture is done nicely that ample space blending with a peaceful mind is my first impression. Lightings were well layout that displayed items were well spotted in an elegant way. Cost to entry is $100 to the public and is exempted for the elderly, students, handicapped person, military personnel, Taoyuan residents and many others. Guided tour is available yet the museum attendants can be very helpful in providing the calligraphy details. QR codes were spotted right next to the display if you were too shy to ask. One drawback is some of the visitors didn’t notice that there is a solid line in front of each and every display. Yes, you guessed it right, some people...

Although my Chinese language ability is very limited, the staff here were very friendly and helpful. One lady guided us through the electronic ticketing process and even handed us a refund from the rental locker.

The Calligraphy Art Center is currently displaying an exhibition by Chu Chen Nan. It is truly impressive that he penned calligraphy in so many different styles, ranging from antique to modern. The displays are tastefully arranged and beautiful.

The museum itself is also a work of art, creatively made in...
