豆子一家輕旅 Douzi Hotel — Hotel in Taoyuan City

Overpriced for what it offers. The only thing going for it is the 15 minute drive to Taoyuan airport.

Self check in with computer, there is 1 or 2 friendly staff nearby if you need help. Quiet, clean & safe neighbourhood. About 10 mins walk to nearby mall, 2 mins walk to 7-11 on the same road.

Room has limited sound proof, luckily we didn't have noisy guests the night we stayed. We had 3 in a room with 1 small suitcase & 3 small backpacks, we struggled to find space to put them without tripping over things. No place to hang clothes on small items despite the empty walls. Squeaky bunk bed and the ladder, meaning every movement of the upper bunk will make enough noise to light sleepers in the room.

3.5 rating - private room with shared bathroom facilities. We stayed here as we had an overnight layover and didn't want to stay too far away from airport or pay too much for a sleep/shower. The hotel was presented well, the room and bedding were tidy. The bathroom situation is x3 shower and x3 toilet stalls each for M + F. The showers were good, private enough and clean, they also provide basic amenities. The toilets are similar to what you have in shopping malls. They have coffee/tea available in the morning with some small bread which was nice. There's not much around in terms of food but there is a convience store 2-3min walk away. Overall is quite a good stay.  The location is strategic, and quite near to the Taoyuan International Airport. Nearby you can find 7 eleven convenient store. Also nearby you can find the nearest MRT station heading towards Taipei. There are a few restaurants nearby which are a good choice to go. The room could be refurnished to achieve better cleanliness. If possible can provide thermos and fridge for convenience. The toilet and bath room are clean. However, the light could be more bright to have a better environment. The stay provides yummy snacks and soft drinks for the customers. They also provide croissant and bread type breakfast, which is yummy. The person in charge are friendly and patient to help.
