By reading the reviews on gmap, it makes me worry that It will be queued, full, and not as expected. Expectations were lowered. But, it was not as bad as written in the review.

I got a slot ticket at 18. Entering at 19, without queuing at all. Just give the ticket barcode and enter straight away. We can carry the stroller inside and quite pass. Not as busy as imagined. My family and I can still see all parts of the aquarium. Quite satisfied with spending 1.5 hours inside. The time when inside is not limited. The limited time is only when entering according to the time in the ticket. In the outside, there is a garden filled with fish and lights that help illuminate. There is a goat too, however it is sleeping at night. Toilets are on every floor. There is a vending machine inside. There is Xcafe in the exit.

Overall, my children and I were satisfied visiting this xpark. There is a possibility of the second visit.

Facilities: toilets, cafe, nursing place, elevator, escalator, vending machine, gift shop, sand garden. Zone: Jellyfish zone, tropical zone, deep sea zone, polar zone, interactive zone and several other zones Animals: penguins, jellyfish, deep sea fish, crabs, freshwater fish, whale sharks, iguanas, lizards, geckos, goats, sea lions, coral reefs, sea urchins, snakes, etc.

Transportation: the location is close to the A18 Taoyuan HSR. 8 minute walk. Cross the Gloria Store, and enter the mall. The entrance is on the 2nd floor. From Taipei, it is faster to use the HSR (16 minutes) with the same cost rather than if you take the commuter MRT (purple-blue line) to Linkou (1 hour 10 minutes).

There is no fixed schedule for the show because it depends on the mood of the animal.

For Muslims, there is a Chicken master at Taoyuan HSR.

There is a park with a playground near the xpark building. Its name is Qingbugong2 park.

Xpark is an aquarium just a few minutes walk from the train station. It's located near a shopping centre and food pavilion which is convenient. We booked our tickets on klook and had no wait time.

The aquarium here had a large focus on visuals. There will be large tanks with various species of fish mixed together that focus tends to be more about all the fish together as opposed to individual species, which is fine, good even. The penguins were one of the highlights for me and the way the aquarium has the walkway interact with the different enclosures was very well done.

You'll often walk underneath different enclosures and even the cafe has an area that the penguins can swim into (the cafe was below the penguin area). Neat things like that. There were a tank I distinctly remember for having a very high height which looked great for photos.

There was a short sea lion show that runs about every 2 ish hours which was interesting but runs for about 15 minutes. Also they will only speak Mandarin so you may feel left out as a tourist unfortunately.

There was quite good information for those that like to read, primarily in Chinese though but google lens will help you there. There was also background music playing throughout the whole thing which is kinda hard to describe it uh.. invoked curiosity I suppose lol. I thought it added to the experience in a good way.

We went during the weekdays and it was moderately busy, if there were more people it may become a little crowded so probably best to go on a weekday.

Quite the thematic experience and very enjoyable. You in Taipei and like...

👎🏻We went there on a Monday and the route to the parking was blocked due to the construction across the road so we had to circle around the area to find another way to the parking. There was no other signs to direct us. Considering this is the peak season for the park, they should have put up signs for visitors since most of them come by cars. 👎🏻 the aquarium was very small with a small collection of sea animals in comparison to the one in Kenting. With $550 admission I'm not sure if it's worth it. 👎🏻 the food court only has one restaurant and everything is overpriced and for a long wait. And they don't allow you to bring your own food in! Even Disney has McDonald's in it 🙄🙄 it's a huge ripoff! 👎🏻 the interactive show only lasted for 30 minutes and all we saw was a sea lion 🦭 walked down the stage and looked for it's treats in the water. The worst part was the video we had to sit and watch in 38 degree of heat. The video was about they little toys they made for the parrots and the animals in the aquarium. I simply don't understand the purpose of watching a video. I thought Aquarian is the place to be interesting and educative for all ages of visitors. Don't you think teaching the roles of these animals you have and how to protect their habitat would be a wiser approach? Not everyone gets to have a parents at home.🤣🤣

Maybe the place just want to make quick money from innocent visitors, instead of running the business for a long term. 🤣🤣

🙏🏻pray you guys are kind to those poor animals. The space for most of the animals are way to small and eventually they all going o get...

xpark aquarium 🐟🐠🐡 | had a little solo day for me w the kids bc I just love aquariums so so so much and not at all bc someone 👀 who had a dads night out at an actual club may or may not have tested 🦠➕ and now needs to isolate from us (days before our flight) 🙃🙃🙃 but it’s fine, everything’s fine. OK but truly I loved this little aquarium bc if you can’t tell i could get lost in a sea of jellyfish #aliansattheaquarium and would absolutely visit again. the second floor had an immersive area where kids (and kids over 30 🙋‍♀️) could color in sea animals on ipad (suspended like octopi) and see those animals pop up on a floor to ceiling wall screen, after which, you needed to tap trash on the big screen to clean the ocean for your animals 🤪 — gotta hand it to Taiwan for always educating 🌊! #xpark #chuangstakeaplanetpe #marriedlife #husbandwifehumor #sentimental #corememories Fun things to do with kids in Taiwan, Taiwan day trips, kid friendly Taiwan, aquarium in Taiwan, immersive aquarium for kids, taipei Taiwan kid activities, traveling with kids to Taiwan, what to do with toddlers in Taiwan, xpark aquarium #dayinthelife #vlog #minivlog #taipeitravel #taiwantravel
