Yangming Sports Park — Attraction in Taoyuan City

A fairly big park in the bade district of the Taoyuan city. Definitely a big change and and upgrade for the local area, as previously there were not many parks around or the park size is tiny to now.

This park has alot of kid's play facilities such as playground playset, swing set, fairly long slides that kids even younger ages can enjoy. There are two caterpillar slides which are long and can see kids all run to it when they have them in their sight…! Good thing is there are plenty of seat areas for parents as well, or can bring picnic mat to sit on the field.

Besides kid's playset, the typical park exercising sets are available for adults, and also there are sports facilities like basketball courts.

Another area of the park seems to be a pet owners gathering as there are plenty of dogs happily running around and the owners socializing.

Big and spacious parks, definitely a plus for the locals living close by, and a prestigious landmark for the...

It's a big park. On the grassy areas you MUST watch where you walk....lots of dog poop basically everywhere. There are lots of signs that describe large fines if you dont clean up after your dog. Apparently people here dont get caught. Too bad. The fines could pay for someone who needs a job to clean up dog poop. I'd do it. Pay me. I'll do it.

Nice big park to the South of the Train station (2km, 15mins walk). Has a lake, a bridge, a picnic area, rest zones, restrooms, basketball courts and a field for roller skating.
