本次再來日月潭，原本計畫走一趟貓囒山步道，以補前次遺珠之憾，都來到登山口了，才知因風災步道維修暫停開放。所幸之前有找到內湖山步道，就前來走走。這步道是早期是通往文武廟的通道，為在地居民輸運農產品的路徑，現今已整理為登山步道，全長約1.5公里。

車停文武廟免錢又好停，就從文武廟後山公園出發，繞了公園一下才找到入口。入口前有一間咖啡廳，問了一下店家，得到了不太確定的答案，還是硬著頭皮走了進去。步道沿線分別由水泥，石板及木棧板鋪設而成，厲害的是步道邊緣佈滿青苔，讓人走來有點膽顫心驚。

步道在樹林間穿梭，林蔭蔽日坡度平緩，也可能是由文武廟往下走，走來並不會覺得太辛苦。走到一處邊坡水流溢滿步道，剛好有個岔路，指標一邊指向石竹園，但下坡加上汨汨水流讓人卻步，所以選擇無指標但乾躁的下山石階路。這段路程獨自走來有點緊張，除了一兩處需跨過坍方路面，還得面臨眾多小黑蚊侵擾，前方猶如未知的目的地，只得加快腳步前行。

邊走邊用衛星定位尋路，當聽到了汽車聲，才解除心中不安。沿路經過幾個觀景台，但座椅老舊清苔遍佈，也看不到任何景觀，早已喪失原有功能，這段路看來是人煙罕至已久。過不久走出步道，也看到了柏油路，經查這條路是有水巷，走出有水巷接回台21線，沒多久又看到了另一個步道入口。前行到了九龍口就...
