In Africa in general, I think it's important to be flexible in order to enjoy yourself. Initially, me and my friend where scheduled to leave for the safari around 8:30AM. Therefore, I had planned to meet her an hour earlier that morning since I was coming back from trekking the Kilimanjaro and she had just arrived from home. Unfortunately, the evening before the safari started, my friend was told that we would be leaving 2 hours earlier than expected. Best day arranged transportation for me on the spot all the way from Moshi to Arusha free of charge so I wouldn't have to stress out about it or leave my lodge at 3AM to make it in time. The Safari was great. We were paired with an awesome driver who's been doing this for 12 years. He was friendly, knowledgeable and patient. I realized that with safari, there's a great deal of luck involved and fortunately one of us in that group clearly had Irish ancestry because we got to see many cool things. A Serval cat in Serengeti, a freaking Honey Badger fighting two jackals in Ngorongoro, even two lionesses hunting warthogs in Tarangire, right at the very end of our trip when we were heading to the gate. The complimentary accommodation options in Karatu and Arusha were "meh" but the one in Serengeti which is actually owned by the same company was EXCELLENT! I feel that Best Day offers the reliability of a big company and the personal service of a small one and I will be recommending it to my friends visiting Tanzania.

We contacted Bestdays Safaris from our country, looking for a local operator. Communication was really clear from the begining. Once in Arusha we visit a few other operators to compare and by far was the best value of the other options. We visit their office and we confirm our route to start the following day. 4 days, my wife and me, 2 days Serengeti, 1 Ngorongoro, 1 Tarangire. The accommodation was perfect, food amazing. Wild life we saw and landscape was unreal. We manage to see the big 5, even seems to don't be easy. But thanks to our experienced guide we made it. The best of all we can say that it was share this unforgettable experience with the best guide, greatest driver, and better person. Our friend Joseph. Without him it wouldn't be the same. Finding and explaining everything about the animals, nature, culture... Telling us on our trip really nice histories about Tanzania. The best dj too. Thank you for everything Joseph. Thank you for everything Bestday Safaris. We will never forget you.

⸻ We just finished a 7-day safari in Tanzania with Best Day Safaris and it was truly unforgettable! We visited Arusha National Park, Lake Manyara, Tarangire National Park, the Serengeti, and the amazing Ngorongoro Crater. We also had the chance to visit the village of Moshi, at the foot of Kilimanjaro, where we learned how coffee is traditionally made in Tanzania – such an authentic and fascinating experience. What made our safari extra special was our guide, Ziggy. His passion, professionalism, and care really made the difference. He always went the extra mile to show us as many animals and landscapes as possible, finding the best spots to watch them while fully respecting nature and the animals’ freedom. His philosophy of protecting wildlife and the pristine environment is exactly what made this safari so unique. On top of that, he’s an incredible animal spotter – thanks to his sharp eye we saw so many species, including the Big Five. The organization of Best Day Safaris was flawless: from the transfers to the lodges/tented camps, and the meals which were always abundant and tasty. We felt safe, well taken care of, and truly immersed in the adventure the whole time. We highly recommend Best Day Safaris to anyone dreaming of experiencing the magic of Tanzania in an authentic and unforgettable way. And if you can, ask for Ziggy as your guide – he’ll make the whole experience even more extraordinary!

We (a group of six friends from Austria) booked a 5 day private Safari with our personal route with Bestday Safaris.

We did Lake Mayara, Central Serengeti, Northern Serengeti (for the Great Migration) and Ngorongoro Crater.

At first we were a bit sceptical because they only wanted a 10% down payment and the rest in cash (USD) on site, but everything worked out fine. The company was really professional and the trip exceeded our expectations.

the lodges and tented camps were in good condition and more luxurious than expected (Octagon Lodge, Tukaone Tented Camps and Heritage Tented Camp) the food was good and plentiful (we did not expect the food to be so good) our driver/guide Joseph was very sympathetic and gave us much information about the animals and the culture we always felt safe during the entire journey which is due to Jospeh‘s amazing driving skills and his explanations about local cultures we saw the Big 5 + many more animals we saw two herds of gnus crossing the Mara river (July22) the price for our safari included airport pick up and drop off, the accommodation, full board and enough drinking water for each day compared to other companies the price for the safari was lower probably because this is a local company without agents abroad and without much marketing

Overall, I highly recommend Bestday Safaris from the pick up at the airport to drop off at the airport everything was just fine and I had one of the most amazing days in my life so far. Thank you...

We had the most amazing 4 day safari trip with Best Day Safaris. During this trip we spent three days in Serengeti and one day in the Ngorongoro crater. The safari tour was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced before, to get close to the animals and get to know so much about the wildlife was truly amazing. Our guide Jackson were quickly able to spot all the animals and he really knew how to find the best locations for seeing lions, elephants, cheetahs, giraffes and Leopards. We even got to see the rare black rhino during our safari trip!! Visiting Serengeti during the migration period was also something extra. Zebras and wildebeests as far as the eye could see. Jackson also told us everything about the wildlife and animals as well as the Masai way of living and the Tanzanian history. He is really interested and gives the information in a way that you will never forget. I can really recommend him as a safari guide!

The places we stayed at, Tukaone Camp and Eileen Tree in showed great hospitality and gave really good service. Tukaone camp is located in the Serengeti National Park and it was such a great experience living in the Tented Lodge and being able to hear the birds and the wildlife during the night, it really gave the adventurous authentic feel. Dinner were served with some different dishes and the food were very good.

This trip have been one of my most appreciated experiences and a can truly recommend Best Day Safaris to host your...
