Sno Cream Masaki — Attraction in Dar es-Salaam

If u want to go to a dessert place that smells like Dettol then this is the place for u. It smelled like a clinic. I asked the staff why a dessert shop smells like dettol? She says we mop with Dettol! It was horrible experience eating in such environment. It was hot obviously so we didnt want to sit outside. The ac inside isnt cold enough so our ice creams were served melted. Who serves melted icecream? And please do not fool customers with your sundae glass! A junior glass sundae and a normal sundae glass has the same amount of ice cream but prices are different. While normal sundae has a narrow glass from bottom and junior has wide. But its the same! I was expecting an adult sundae to be in a taller glass bcz u pay extra 3000 tshs. A dessert shop should be a cossy place with a pleasant smell But i felt i was sitting in a hospital with the smell and then i had to eat melted ice cream. The staffs put their mouth on a sauce bottle nd drink the sauces. Sorry but not planning to visit this place again!

If I was able to give zero stars, I would. The dessert was nice, but the service was appalling! As a group of black Tanzanian girls, we felt very unwelcome here. Our orders took 30 minutes despite 6 groups who arrived after us getting their orders before we did. We complained to the attendants but there was little remorse. The attendant with "Aurelia" written on her hand stopped listening and attending to me when an Indian customer approached her while I was standing right there. When our orders finally came, 2 of them were wrong, and the staff did not correct this. The attendant also mocked my complaint to us as she brought the order to our table. one of the few best ice cream places!!!! i still don’t get why the prices vary between vanilla, chocolate and double decker cone! Also the way they have written all three down on the menu with different descriptions - they should fix their menu. Otherwise love their icecream! one star less for this lady who took my order and refused to explain me the differences and to make it easy just told me “haya basi amna” while they had it in stock because i saw a customer order before and after.
