Pros: The food we had was good. The garden salad was well done and the slow cooked ribs were nice as well. The service was attentive and responsive. Manager checks on customers to find out if they are well served.

Cons: i didn't give 5 stars or even 4 stars because of the payment options available at the restaurant. A place like this should have mobile payments set up and an actual card machine that works. Their pay menus mention they take union pay cards but the machine is so old that it can't even read the cards let alone allow them to make payment. In an upscale market where most people prefer to use more convenient forms of payment than cash, this is a terrible disadvantage and the only reason i may not be back to the establishment. Lock and Barrel is easily one of my favorite restaurants in the city. The food is consistently excellent — I highly recommend the brisket sliders and the tandoori fish, both full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The service is fast, friendly, and professional, and the owner often comes by the tables to personally check that everything is good, which adds a nice, personal touch.

The location is also great — easy to find with convenient parking right outside. The place has a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for both casual lunches and dinners with friends. Definitely worth a visit if...
