Read moreGreat place, big place. Really crowded on weekends. Foodcourt medium to low quality and quite expensive compared to many others (Terminal21/Fashion island/etc.). The "Indian" food-stand absolutely to avoid, pure robbery! The cashiers have to learn what mean being kind and smile.
YUMSAAP Thai restaurant on 1st floor just opposite from IKEA has the most unpleasant "Tomboy" waiter ? or waitress? Rude and short answers to our kind questions concerning the food and after that we got the plates towed on the table without the slightest smile or any eyecontact. Flirting with the waitresses and very arrogant to the customers. And finally even worse Price-quality result as the food-court on the same floor.
Many big shops with mostly unpleasant sales staff and unable to communicate in english .... yes we are in Thailand and I do not expect english from the street seller, even if those do manage quite good, but in an ambitious "mega" shopping center one would expect "educated" and polites sales crews.
Inside most of the shops no one even look at you not to mention greet you with a smile or a simple greeting. They are mainly occupied with their smartphones.
I had a problem with my phone so I went there to the SAMSUNG shop. No one inside was able to understand or talk 1 coherent sentence in english. They were better of hiring some of the girls or men from the little phone booths outside, for their english and their skills.
Toilets not really inviting. Take a look at the toilets in Fashion-Island or Promenade to know how toilets in a good shopping center have to look like.
