CLEAN and deliciously expensive fruit market (vegetables are reasonable and lovely). One of the ONLY outdoor markets I have been to which keeps the inner lanes clear and pristine. The food hall is friendly and average priced but is still a bit pricey compared to most BKK locations. The prices here don't always reflect the quality so be WARNED ABOUT AGGRESSIVE FRUIT STALL LADIES! Learn about which fruits you want to try and the Grade levels of what is best. A stallholder close to the last lane facing the highway assaulted my husband and I after hearing we want mangosteen and bullied us into buying much more than we wanted. The ladies here are looking to sell half to a kilo but be FIRM and don't be afraid to say NO THANK YOU. We wanted to try all the grade A exotic fruits but felt so bullied into buying from this one stall lady who gave us samples we spent all our money here on what was claimed to be A grade fruit. ONE look at them when we got home because she shoved them in a bag and refused to let me pick my own can tell me that they weren't. C grade and below were more like it but we paid A grade prices after telling her we had a budget and we are not paying a penny more. BE AWARE when you enter this arena of farmers. The food court should be a great place to regain some energy to battle your way through afterwards. Delicious courage my friends...

Come here if you are a bit of a foodie and want to see / taste / buy the absolute best of fresh Thai seafood, fruit and vegetables, or dried snacks.
For premium fruit, such as durian, you can ask to taste first. The prices are generally fair. You can buy as little as 100g to taste what is arguably the world's best Durian. Avoid the cheap, smelly durian, and treat yourself to some quality durian, one that's absolutely delicious, lightly fragrant, with a custard like texture.
There are food stalls that sell a wide range of traditional Thai favourites.
It's quite hot here at times, (mostly no aircon) dress lightly. The fresh coconuts on sale really help, 50 baht each.
If you need a break from the heat, check out the Royal Project shop, there's a cafe at the side with air con and decent coffee.
Parking is tight here but not expensive. If you can't get a space here, consider parking at J J Mall and walking from there (10 mins).
If you're really into your food or are looking for some insta. pics, Or Tor Kor market is well worth your time...
