Excavation of this site occurred in 1985 to reveal the current structures. It's believed that heavy flooding at some point in time deposited 2 meters of sand and soil in this area which was removed during the restoration. Nice spacious grounds.

Great place. The small abandoned convention center only adds up to the mystic atmosphere. One of few cool places in Chiang Mai which Is not crowded with tourists.

그러나 충분히 가볼만한 가치가 있다. a good place for biking historic sites There are many relics left only by the base, but they have a good atmosphere in themselves. Perhaps the city is trying to invest a lot of money in the area and nurture it as a historical park, but it has not completely achieved its goal. But it is well worth going to.

Very beautiful! It is fascinating to visit the structures that have stood the test of time, albeit partially.

Wat I Khang is a ruined 16th or 17th century temple in the Wiang Kum Kam archaeological complex near modern Chiang Mai in northern Thailand. It is named after the former prevalence of wild old world monkeys at the site prior to its excavation and restoration, which are known as khang in Thai.
