This market is a great little place to buy delicious food for such a great price! They have many stores around Karon temple including clothing (hats, dresses, t-shirts, underwear, etc) as well as souvenirs (the regular ones you’ll see around Karon and some unique things too. It’s hard to bargain and buy from them when it comes to food, but to be honest their prices are very cheap anyway. Some of the souvenir/clothing store owners are happy to give the products you want at a reasonable price and they will even say “what price will make you happy?” So we got some stuff for price we wanted and thought was fair.
My husband ordered chicken pad Thai and got two fried fish fillets on a stick (big size) for all u see $150. The lad Thai is made fresh in front of you and a box only costs 79 bhat!!!!!! I got spring rolls, decent size for 15 baht a piece. We also got 3kg if rambutan fruitfir 100 bhat!!! So definitely great place to eat. They also had scorpions and other critters to try as well (for anyone interested!).
There’s a nice little jewellery store near the entrance/exit on one side of the temple. They have nice gold and silver designed strings that can be cut into a bracelet or necklace. Each inch, depending on the thickness of the design can range from 10 baht an inch to 69 bhat. My wrist is quite small and I chose a fairly simple design and I paid 140 bhat for a bracelet.
Overall great little market place, especially for food and we’ll be going again! Sad that they only open 2...

Read moreАпрель 2025. April 2025. We are Russian tourists, quite tempted by South-eastern markets and flea-riddles:) Visiting the night market Wat Karon can make the following conclusion and give recommendations: go here to purchase goods with a discount is a mistake and a imaginary assumption! The market itself looks like an exhibition fair, which exhibited products from all Phuket - visit, see worth, present exotic goods, such as fried Scorpions and locusts, or leather products) the market execution - on the territory of the temple VAT Karon - not usually already in itself. But the cost is overly overly all goods in a single performance ! 80% of all presented can be found around the city in half cheaper. My advice: look at the fair on the days of work: Tuesday or Friday from 12 to 22. And also the temple complex VAT Karon and temple on its territory Wat Kitti Saatharam without fair to penetrate authenticity of place and charge the spiritual power of...
