Sombat Permpoon Gallery really opened my eyes to local Thai artists and their art 💡. They focus almost exclusively on Thai artists 🇹🇭 and have some impressive showpieces on the ground floor 🖼️. With decorative paintings leaning against the walls everywhere on the ground floor, it’s quite clear that this is a commercial gallery 💵. Which is not bad at all - to the contrary, it’s quite good to know where to get a wide range of Thai art for all budgets! 👍 However, once you get shown around the upper floors by the knowledgeable staff 👩🎨, you can discover so much more 🤩. You can wander around the ground floor which also has stocks of paintings stacked on the floor as no more exhibition space on the walls.
