Walking in the atmosphere was very friendly. Owner is nice and personable. Unfortunately the barber did not know/understand how to cut curly hair and did not give me what I wanted. He immediately cut off more than I asked for and continued to show he did not know what he was doing. The owner felt bad and after he realized a mistake was made he was very attentive and even had a different person come clean up the first barber’s mistakes. In the end the haircut looks really nice so all is well. If you have curly hair I’d recommend just being a bit more outspoken about what you need, it’s reasonable that a Thai barber wouldn’t have much experience with curlier hair. The owner seems great from the reviews and energy though he was not there at that moment. I do see within the reviews European people being treated worse, This is effectively the case. The hairdresser had no interest even picking up a zisor for the 400Bath and did electronic razor only. Had to state him twice and then he did it against his will, then finally thinned it slightly out 1 minute. he had no vision of tackling person-specific hair. The place it is really nice, almost brand new and cool atmosphere. Went for a haircut (supposed to be 200 THB) and the guy push it to trim my beard too, on two occasions he asked to trim a certain area which I said no and they did anyway, after done wanted to charge me 600 THB, after I pointed that the haircut was only 200 they give me a "discount" (500 was the final price), 1 days after I noticed some cuts and a rash on my neck, went there to point this out and they just seems confused and offer other trim (which was unnecessary and I mean..no!)
