Read moreRelatively small place but certainly provide good service and at a reasonable price considering its location. One must remove own footwear going in, and replace with provided rubber slippers from the shoe rack located inside as you enter. Payment is collected first by the supervising lady seated at the desk on the far end of the room. After payment, you are given a clean towel and a loose pants, and you will be guided to the stairs to go to second floor to change. As I was in for a foot scrub and a foot massage, I come down again to be seated in one of leather recliners which are lined up side by side to be served by one of the lady masseuse. One must notice the displayed signs on the wall to be quiet, and taking photos is not allowed. In general. the place is clean, tidy, well managed and friendly. I tried many other places before, and in my opinion, this is ranked above average. There is one issue that I am curious about. Since I didn't see any container where customers can place the provided rubber sandals after use, and the used ones were placed back on the rack, does that mean sharing without disinfecting? I hope not. It would be nice if they could assure customers of cleanliness by providing a separate container for used sandals. Overall, good massage, fantastic scrub, good people,...
Read moreI have tried ThaiThai from another outlet and that was really really good in my opinion, and perhaps set the expectations I have in this regard. I picked the Classical Thai massage as I really needed some stretching and kneading to get my knots out. The masseuse I was assigned had a rather strange method because she would sometimes massage soft and sometimes hard - my body felt tense like a roller coaster ride waiting for that hard one. When it's soft it felt like she was nodding asleep, I got really uncomfortable that I told her I needed harder strength. But she barely increased her strength even though I knew she had it in her from the various times they suddenly became hard. There would normally be some stretching in the final minutes of the session, which I did not have. I'm under the impression that they would really stretch my back and limbs but nada. Then masseuse would start chatting with another colleague in the other rooms. It gets loud. After the massage, I was served cold tea (not iced but tea that felt like it was left out for a long time). My entire experience in this establishment is ruined and I'm afraid to visit the other outlets now if I might encounter such...
