I had to leave my friend at the local Medical Centre for treatment for swelling on the ankles. It was Maghreb time. Found the mosque with Google maps showing 11 mins walk. What a beautifully constructed building that could bed seen from a distance, quite stunning. The minarets had scaffolding on them so clearly some refurbishment work going on. Separate entrance for men and women made easy enough. The ablution area was clean and tidy. Marble cool floors with the odd ant crawling across during sajjood.
Talking of ants, if you don’t like the call for prayers on loud speakers, find yourselves another location to stay, don’t eat the local food that’s all halal, your hotel is being maintained probably by Muslims.
