Don’t come here unless you’re prepared to waste at least 2–3 hours at this restaurant.
We reserved a table in advance and had to leave a 200 BAHT deposit. We wanted to try this place because of the good reviews and the delicious smell we’d noticed when passing by. When we arrived later that evening, the restaurant was busy.
We were a group of nine who ordered different dishes. One of us ordered an appetizer, which took a full hour to arrive. We waited almost two hours for our main courses, and even then, they didn’t bring them all at once. We repeatedly asked about our food, but the waiter couldn’t give us an estimated time. After an hour of waiting, we asked again, and she said it would be out “ASAP”—which was a lie. We didn’t get our food for another 40 minutes, totaling 1 hour and 40 minutes of waiting. They wasted most of our evening.
The food was underwhelming, not the best Thai cuisine—you can find much better almost anywhere else.
One of us had the fried squid appetizer, but it wasn’t really fried; it was soggy and not very tasty.
The Pad Thai with shrimp was bland and was basically just noodles with three shrimp. It didn’t have much flavor, though it looked nice. The red curry chicken wasn’t great, and it was also too spicy for us, even though we’d asked for it to be mild. The stir-fried noodles with soy sauce were tasteless. The tom yum soup was good, but they forgot the side of rice we ordered with it. The cashew chicken was good.
In the end, even after nearly 2 hours of waiting, we received nothing to snack on in the meantime, no discount, and nothing on the house. Simply terrible—I wouldn’t recommend...

Read moreThe first night we were in Ao Nang, the lady at our resort’s front desk recommended this restaurant, even over another that seemed to have the best google reviews... so my husband and I tried it out, and three consecutive meals later, we haven’t felt motivated to try out any other restaurant. We did walk to the highly reviewed restaurant, but they are closed for renovations while we are here so we will never know. We ran into many other people while at this restaurant who were repeat diners. Our favorites have been all of the colors of curry- especially the yellow (we had it with chicken) and the chicken and cashew stir fry. The red, yellow curries, and stir fry were literally out of this world! The young coconuts were the sweetest I’ve tried, and the coconut ice cream with mango sauce (also comes with mango!!) is all you need on a hot day! Service is fast and friendly to boot, even for an annoying diner like me who is always asking for...
