Racha SeaFood — Restaurant in Krabi Province

The food here was OK my partner and I ordered pad Thai and spring rolls. The spring rolls were very greasy which made them very unenjoyable but the chili sauce there was good. The pad Thai had decent flavor but the noodles were very undercooked and hard. However, the food is not the reason that this restaurant is getting two stars. Upon arriving my partner was seated at a chair that had a bees nest on the back of it(which leaves me to believe that these chairs are not wiped down frequently) . The bathroom was absolutely atrocious. It was far from clean and there were spiderwebs everywhere..( that had to be sitting tfor a while because they’ve all collected some form of debris) As travelers, my partner and I are not expecting a glamorous experience when we eat at a mostly outdoor restaurant..but unfortunately this place was just overall not...

I had lunch at Racha a couple of days ago. It seemed nice from the street, and a table of friendly thai ladies eating at the entrance drew me in. However, they were apparently part of the restaurant, and the clientele was exclusively made of tourists. Two of the guys from the restaurant were not friendly at all: not a single smile and some unpleasant looks - For note, I was dressed appropriately with a long dress and a shawl around my shoulders. However, the young man who served my table was very nice. My food was served very quickly. I had a papaya salad and a pad see ew. It was OK, not particularly tasty, I've had some much better ones. I think I paid 140 bahts, standard price for Ao Nang. I won't go back, there are better places all...

I don’t know if we came at a bad time (1pm on 15th April 2019) but it was awful, worst food of our 9 days in Thailand so far, prepared and served by disinterested looking teenagers. Maybe due to Songkran the proper staff are on holiday although I’d have thought it the best time to show off what you can do. We had Thai food and the kids ordered pizza, spaghetti bolognaise and burger. Everything was awful even the Thai stuff and overpriced at around 180 baht for any dish. Even a small bottle of water 25 baht (7 baht in the 7-11 opposite). Photos of the dishes on the walls are lovely looking. Doesn’t match the reality sadly or the taste. Maybe it’s better at night. Had a list of cocktails...
